Hope and The Marauders (ON HOLD)

Chapter f o u r

As we were getting sorted I wasn't listening until my name was called.

"Hope Mikaelson."  Professor McGonagall called, and as expected whispers erupted. I slowly made my way to the front and sat on the stool where an old mangy hat was placed on my head.

"Oh, what an interesting mind you have, I have waited for the day I would get to sort you. And I'm also terribly sorry for your loss."

"You know nothing. Just sort me and get out of my head!" I tell the hat angrily.

"Alright. Definitely not Hufflepuff though you have the qualities. Not Ravenclaw, you act first think later. You might do well in Slytherin, cunning and ambitious. No not right there either. You have traits of Gryffindor, bravery, loyalty, courage and you would do anything for the ones you love. I know- Gryffindor!" He shouted out and I sighed in relief as I sat down at the Gryffindor table next to Lily.

We both smiled and hugged after a minute we pulled away and everyone was looking at us, I hugged Marlene and Alice after too but I had enough of people staring.

"What? What is so important that you all have to stare?" I asked annoyed and that got everyone but the four boys I met on the train to look away. "Seriously, what do you want?" I asked annoyed I couldn't enjoy my first day in peace.

Remus rolled his eyes at his friends then looked at me. "What they want to know is, are you part of the Original family?" He asked for his friends that nodded in agreement.

I sighed then said; "Yes I am." I then looked down.

"So, if your part of a family thats all vampire, how were you born?" Peter asked and I chuckled and explained.

"So, I'm the outcome of a drunken one-night stand. It's funny really. My dad thought that too, but when he realized that he could procreate because he was half werewolf and my mother was a werewolf they had me. My father loved my mom, but never romantically, like best friends, that was after they slept together and my mom actually fell in love with my uncle. My family had some crazy things happen to us." After I finished I had tears in my eyes I quickly wiped them away and smiled. "Hey Lil?" I asked.

"Yeah Hope?" She asked concerned.

"Well, I don't know where the common room is and I was wandering if you could show me?" I asked hopefully.

"Yeah sure. Come on." She started walking with me and the boys ended up following saying that Remus felt sick. He sure looked like it.

We got to the dorms, which I found out I share with Lily, Alice and Marlene. Good.
It was a full moon so I decided to go to the woods and shift.
"Invisique" I  muttered to make myself invisible.

I ventured out the a shallow place in the forbidden forest and stripped, my bones cracked and then in a few minutes I was a white wolf. I ran for a bit before heading back to my clothes, as I was about to turn back I heard growling. So I followed it to a tunnel that went under the whomping willow, I moved quickly so I didn't get trampled.

I followed the tunnel and after a while there was an old wodden door. So me being the stupid person I am peaked through the door, still in my wolf form I nudged the door open and what I saw was beyond weird. What have I walked into?... I asked myself stupidly. I saw a rat, stag, giant black dog and a werewolf in a circle what looked like talking. The werewolf looked at me and growled, before any of the animals could move I growled at him showing who the alpha was, and like a good boy he submitted. I stopped growling and went to turn away when I heard him coming so I ducked letting him go over me and I jumped ontop of him growling in his face until he submitted.
I got off and had a strange felling the animals were human so I nodded to them and went back out to the forest, shifted back, put my clothes on and hurried to the common room quickly and went to bed.
