I'm not great at descriptions but the title basically says it all. I own no one and nothing. Hope's parents recently died and het family thinks it's better to send her to a new school around new people. She reunites with an old friend, makes new one...
A week or so passed and Sirius and I have done everything, danced, seen street festival, Kol and Marcel almost walked in on Sirius and I making out, not fun, on different times. Everything. Now comes the day everyone has been both dreading and waiting for.
"They should be here soon." I said excitedly to Sirius.
"Yes, which means we have a little more alone time." Sirius said walking up to me and kissing me I kissed back, he started kissing down my jaw to my neck and leaving new hickeys, which are becoming harder and harder to hide.
"Sirius we... we can't. We'll be called down soon." I told him as he kissed me one more time.
I walked over to my mirror and started covering up the hickeys.
I shook my head with a smile and headed down with Sirius behind me. "They should be here soon." I tell my family.
"Good, I want to meet your friends." Kol said.
"No, you are to be polite, and not under any circumstance threaten one of my... friends with death. Okay Kol?" I asked.
"But that's no fun." He whined.
"Davina, help?" I asked.
"She's right Kol. Be good this week." She said and he nodded.
The fireplace flared up with green flames before three girls walked out.

I went over to the girls and Sirius went over to the boys we all said hellos and briefly caught up.
"Okay, James, Remus, Alice, Marlene, Peter and Lily." I said pointing to each one. "This is Rebekah, Kol, Marcel, Freya, Davina and Keelin. Okay, I'll show you to your rooms." I took them to their rooms, the four boys share and us four girls share. While no one was looking I took my stuff off of Sirius' bed and put it back in my room.
I went down to the living room with everyone following behind me. "I wish I could stay but I have to do something. I'll be back later." I said. I went to start walking out but Lily caught up.
"Where are you going Hope?" She asked softly.
"Umm. No where. I'll be back either tonight or tomorrow. It'll give you guys to catch up, bond with my family, or if you want Sirius can show you around the French quarter. But I need to do something. Alone." And with that I walked out of the house and looked at the full moon in the sky. I walked all the way to the bayou and shifted into a wolf.
I ran for hours howling in sorrow every so often for the loss of my parents. Then I ran through the back streets of New Orleans all the way back to the compound and inside and sat on the couch. Still in in wolf form. I heard someone walk in but I didn't care to look.
"Hope! You're getting fur all over the couch." I heard Rebekah say.
I looked up at her sad and she sighed. "Look, I know you miss them. We all miss them too. But you can't keep doing this. You have to look back at the good memories not pout." She said walking over to me and sitting next to me, I put my head on her lap.
"Oh merlin. Is that a wolf?" I heard Lily ask. I looked up at her then Bekah.
"Oh fine. No Lils it's not just a wolf. It's Hope." Bekah said and I nodded.
"O...kay." And with that she walked away.
I got up and went sleep in my moms old room. I got up on the bed, turned back to human, put the blankets on me and cried, I don't know when but I eventually fell asleep.
I woke up to light peaking through the curtains, I couldn't just walk out stark naked so I shifted back to wolf form and went down for breakfast, I walked into the kitchen and jumped up to sit on a chair next to Sirius.
"Hope, we talked about this last night. I will not have this. Go change back." Bekah said and everyone looked at me. I ignored her and just ate a pancake of the table.
"Hope, please go change back. And stop ruining clothes please." Davina said.
I looked at her and sighed. I got down off the chair and walked up to my room. I got changed. (Outfit below. with Hope's necklaces and Klaus' daylight ring.)

I walked back out to the kitchen, sat down in my spot and started eating grapes.
"Thank you Hope." Rebekah said.
"It's fine. I was overreacting anyway. And I didn't mean to shred my clothes Davina. You know if I could somehow keep them on I would." I told her.
"I know. It's okay." She said.
We kept eating talking about random things.
"So, what are you planning to do Hope?" Keelin asked.
"Um, I guess whatever they wanted to do. I mean there's another festival on tonight, so I was thinking we could go to that. What is tonight's about?" I asked out of curiosity.
"I think someone died." Freya said.
"Shame. Kol who'd you kill?" I asked without looking at him.
"I didn't do anything." He said.
"Rebekah? Marcel?" I asked.
"Not us." They said in sync. I nodded and continued picking at grapes.
"Does New Orleans celebrate death?" Alice asked.
"No, we celebrate their life before death, and hopefully their afterlife will be good." I told her and she nodded.
We kept talking until Josh ran in looking at us but stopped on me. "I just saw Klaus and Hayley." He said.
