"What should I ask him? The reason why he always annoys me? Doesn't it sound a little stupid? Asking this out of a blue... Ughhh, maybe I shouldn't ask about it at all. But if I don't ask, he will still annoy me, and I will be confused for the rest of my life!"

"You look tired, Jieun-ah, what happened?"
"Oh, I didn't get a good sleep last night too, something was bothering me."

"What was bothering you?"
I turned back only to see Jungkook chuckling.
"You again, huh? you kinda seem so interested in my business, don't you?"
"Hell, no. I just asked. Like you just slapped me. There is no reason behind this!" he passed three girls and took a seat in front of the board.

"I-I-I think I should talk to him since the teacher is not here yet. I'll come back soon" Jieun told Suzy and Jiyeon, then headed towards Jungkook and sat next to him. He didn't look shocked, he looked like he was expecting this.
"Why are you acting like this? Jeon Jungkook?"
"How? How am I acting?"
"You always annoys me intentionally, don't you? to make me pissed off, to make me uncomfortable."
"Are all of your thoughts negative like this???? I guess so. You haven't changed a bit in a year!"
"Then tell me what's wrong!" Jieun raised her voice a little. Jungkook was shocked a little but two of them were cut by a teacher who was telling students to sit down quickly so that she can give them an assignment and go to teachers' meeting.
"Alright students, please sit down quickly, I have an assignment to give you and I have to attend the teacher's meeting, in fact, I'm already late, so you better hurry."
Jieun couldn't stand up and go back to her seat because she felt incomplete and she knew they didn't settle things between them. She was disappointed and confused at the same time. Suddenly she came back to reality when the teacher said:
"Okay, you will be doing this task with the person sitting next to you. It's due to ..... ummmm... I'll give you 4 days." The teacher looked at her watch, then called Jieun's name.
"Lee Jieun, can you read it aloud for your classmates? I have to go"
She handed a paper to Jieun and after reading it, her eyes became even more bigger.
"OMG, I-I-I have to go to the countryside with Jeon Jungkook???"
The assignment was to interview people from rural areas, ask them about harvest and something related to that.
Right after finished reading the paper, she looked at Jungkook who was staring at her, without any facial expression.

"I can't believe I'm doing this assignment with him!"
"It's okay Jieun-ah, Suzy and we will be doing this together, so one of us will be doing it separately anyways."
"Yeah, she's right. And didn't you want to settle things between you two? Look at this assignment as an opportunity"
"Okay...."

"Jeon Jungkook!"
"-What?- and don't call me like that"
"Okay, Jungkook-ah, so I think we will be working as a partner for the next 4 days, and I think today we should talk about our assignment, plan, schedule....."
"I can't"
"What?"
"I can't do it today, give me your phone number, I'll give you a call." then he disappeared.
"What the -?! Ughh, I'll wait."

Jieun was expecting Jungkook to call, but deep in her heart or brain or whatever, it seems unlikely that Jungkook "the popular, handsome, cold guy" will call her and discuss the assignment. She checked her phone like 50 times after she came come. But no message, no call.
After checking her phone for the 51st time, Jieun was startled because of that unknown number on her phone screen. She was hoping it might be Jungkook and she didn't know why she was so excited and tried to be calm and talk in low voice.
"Hello?"
"Umm, hello, it's Jungkook. I think that we should talk about our assignment, cuz it's like three and a half days from now, so ...."
She didn't know that is it was only Jieun or he sounded sexier while talking on the phone.
"You there? Lee Ji-Eun??"
"Yeah, yeah, I was thinking about it too, so what are we gonna do?"
"Since the teacher told us to interview people from the countryside, we should go there tomorrow"
"Like tomorrow tomorrow?"
"yeah, because tomorrow is Saturday, I thought you will be free tomorrow"
"oh, it's okay, okay. I can go. So what questions are we asking?"
"Is it real? Am I really going to the countryside with Jungkook? only two of us? okay, let's see it from another side. I think I can settle things between us.
