"Hello? Ms. Brookes?" my math teacher says waving a hand in front of my face. "What? Sorry," I jump in my seat. "Number 13, what's the answer?" he crosses his arms. "Uhh 18.45?" I state. He eyes me warily then nods his head and continues teaching.

I sigh in my seat. Shit, I really need to focus more in class. I haven't stopped thinking about the conversation from Saturday. They told me to not worry about it and whatever they are planning will fail. But how are they so sure? Liam, who downed a whole bottle of scotch sure looked stressed out. So shouldn't I be worried.

The bell rings and I grab all my stuff. I've been trying to avoid the Carver brothers ever since. And so far I'm successful. "Hey Brookes," a voice I know all too well says approaching me. And I spoke too soon...

"What do you want Nick?" I complain. "Why did you block me?" he asks, looking genuinely confused. I laugh in his face.

"Go away," I groan. "Not until you unblock me," he grins stepping in front of me causing me to stop walking. I roll my eyes and try to walk past him but he steps in front of me once again.

"Not gonna happen," I smile. "Then I'm not moving," he smirks. "Fine," I say, placing my hands on his chest and push him forward while he walks backwards.

"You know you can stop all of this if you just add me back," he says walking backwards with me still pushing him. "Nope," I emphasize on the 'p'.

"Fine you leave me with no choice," he sighs and I frown. What? He quickly steps aside and I go flying forward. As I'm about to fall to the floor he grabs me and cages me against the locker. Ow, the lock is digging into my butt.

"What the fuck Nick!?" I shout, trying to push him away but he doesn't budge. Curse his athletic, unfortunately gorgeous body... "Add me back," he grins.

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"I'm not moving and class is starting any minute you wouldn't want to be late would you?" he saying leaning closer and closer. I can feel my cheeks heat up. Oh no, this isn't good.

"Fine!" I shout, stomping my feet. "I want to see you do it," he releases me and crosses his arms. I roll my eyes and pull out my phone. I show him that I unblocked him and the asshole smiles and walks away like nothing happened.

My jaw drops as I watch him walk away. All of that just to get me to unblock him? I scoff shaking my head and walk to my next class.

The school day flies by in a blurr and now Tana and I are walking to the girls locker rooms for lacrosse practice. Today we are scrimmaging against each other for the first time. Our first game is in a month so we are doing everything we can to prepare.

Coach has taped up the teams on the wall with the color jersey we are supposed to wear. Tana and I fist bump each other when we see that we are on the same team.

We work super well together. She knows my moves and how I think and I know her moves and how she things. We're the "dynamic duo" , a nickname we received from our teammates.

Ever since the pool party I've gotten to know the girls better. I was afraid I wasn't gonna like them at first since they seemed like Emma followers but they're really funny and cool to talk to.

Currently we are sharing the field with the boys Varsity lacrosse team so we are playing a half field scrimmage. I start with the ball at top and of course Emma is guarding me. She's being way more aggressive than usual and I don't know why.
