☆Lauren☆
One hour and one painfully relocated ankle later, I'm now in a fucking boot. Even worse, I can't play lacrosse for two weeks!
The bitch is lucky season doesn't officially start in a month or else things would be going down very differently right now.
"How the hell could you allow this to happen!? You're supposed to be the fucking coach!" Liam is currently yelling at my coach and principal while Henry is trying to be the more civil one.
"Let's just talk this out. We just want to know how this could have happened on your watch and who's responsible," Henry calmly explains. They do a job on the whole "good cop, bad cop" method.
"Well I know who did it," Evan states. Everyone turns to look at him. "Who?" Liam snaps. "Why don't you ask your daughter Principal Mathews," he scoofs.
WHAT! Principal Mathews daughter is Emma!? My jaw drops to the floor.
"Excuse me?" Mathews crosses his arms. "Is this true Lauren?" Henry asks and I nod. His face turns deadly as he turns to Mathews. "I want this girl off the team, she's a danger to my sister and I won't allow her to be anywhere near her," Henry says, stepping closer and Mathews nervously stumbles back.
"C-come on there must be something we can work out," he stutters. "You wouldn't want us to press charges, do you Mathews?" Henry says with a terrifying grin.
I look over at Grayson, Owen and Evan and they all have matching grins. "Or lose the school's top donators?" Liam adds.
Damn if I was in Mathews shoes right now I'd be pissing my pants. These boys perfect the art of intimidation.
"No no no! No need for that," he rushes to say. "I'll talk to her," he lets out a sigh. "I don't want you to talk to her, I want her off the team, got it?" he says with so much venom in his voice looking at both Mathew's and Coach. They nod their heads and walk out of the room.
Liam and Henry walk over to the seat I'm sitting in. "Are you ok?" Liam asks crouching down in front of me. "I guess," I shrug my shoulders.
"Tell you what. You can pick any choice of takeout for tonight and we'll order it and watch a movie. How does that sound?" Henry says and a big smile forms on my lips.
"A Portillos cheeseburger sounds amazing right now," I grin. "Hell yes!" Owen exclaims.
"Language," Liam snaps at him. "Heck yes!" he quickly corrects himself with fear in his eyes and we all laugh and even Liam cracks a small smile.
"Portillo's it is then! Let's get out of here," Henry says and we all get up. My ankle is still painfully sore as I hiss out in pain.
Grayson walks up to me and scoops me up in his arms. "I can walk you know," I scoof wrapping my arms around his neck. "Ya but you're slow as fuck and I want my food today preferably," he rolls his eyes and walks out of the room.
We all get in the car and I'm resting my boot on Owen's lap since I'm supposed to levitate it. "Damn this boot is heavy," he complains. "Ya? Try wearing it," I snap at him and he throws his arms up surrendering.
My sour mood is gone when I take a bite into the juiciest burger I've ever had. Nothing tops Portillos burgers and that's a fact.
Walking around in this boot is harder than I thought. It takes twice as long for me to walk than before. Thankfully I got a doctor's note that excuses me from gym and allows me to leave class early giving me extra time to walk to my classes.
