Shiki was seen walking away from the school. Teru said that he'll be patrolling the school today so Shiki could go home earlier than usual. As the boy was leaving, he saw Akiha running towards him.
"Aozaki-senpai!!!!"
"Akiha, you sure seem energetic. Did you have a nice first day here at the school?"
"It was pleasant, though nothing special happened. By the way, are you free at the moment? There's someone that wants to meet you."
As Shiki nods his head, he felt Akiha grabbing onto his hand as she took him along with her. As he saw the smile on her face, he an image suddenly appeared in his head.
Shiki was in silence. Akiha's smile reminded him of Arcueid. He knows he can never forget Arcueid, but even so, he still misses her. It was thanks to her that Shiki felt alive for once. But now that she's gone, he feels like he's going back to the empty shell that he use to be.
"Aozaki-senpai, are you okay?"
"Huh? Oh yeah......i'm fine. By the way, where are we?"
"This is my home."
"I see....wait....YOU LIVE HERE?!"
Shiki's eyes were wide as he looked at the building before him. This place was almost bigger than the school. As Akiha brought Shiki inside, he saw two maids waiting inside for her.
"Hello Lady Akiha, we're glad to see you returned safely."
"Hello Lady Akiha, we're glad to see you returned safely."
