"Thanks" she says as kitty stops rubbing his head into her chest and takes the meat that is on the floor and starts eating as Lauren then comes over to me and climbs back into bed with me and I put my right arm around her as she puts her arm around my waist pulling herself closer as she the kisses my cheek making me smile as she then pulls back looking at me as I look at her
"Boal" I say quietly making her smile "boal" she says back to me making my smile widen and we rest our head together in a comfortable silence "bo-al" we hear a broken boal from kitty making us look at him seeing him still eating the meat witch is why the boal was broken and we both start to giggle at his cuteness before calming down a little still with smiles on our faces
"I never thought I would see this side of a lion before" Lauren says making look at her as she turns and looks at me "well now you have" I reply and she nods "was being apart of a pack with a lion and female Tarzan on your bucket list?" I ask and she chuckles "no but now it is and it has been completed" she says making me chuckle lightly witch makes her smile brightly
Kitty finishes the meat and comes over to us and jumps on the bed carefully as he knows I am still healing after what happend and he looks at us as we look at him and he walks along Lauren's side before laying down next to her and rest his head on her lap and she strokes his head softly as he does
"He is like a cute little puppy in a big cats body" Lauren says as he starts to purr again "want to see something even cuter" I ask making her look at me and nod so I lift my other arm and bring it toward kitty as Lauren watches silently and with my thumb and index finger I squeeze his nose softly making him bring his paws over his ears and then head down to his nose pushing my hand off his nose "awww" she coodles at his cuteness overload witch makes me look at him in awe as he is so flipping cute
"Okay that was to much cuteness" she says with a baby tone as kitty holds my hand with his paw making sure I don't do it again and I'm not going to if not he would get annoyed with me and whip me with his tail in a joking manner as I learnt the hard way and soon we all go to bed cuddling as it is late after a long day of pack bonding
-skip to almost end of winter-
I have healed a lot so I can just about walk again with no pain as long as I take it easy and Lauren is letting me get out of bed a little more and they girls have visited us now and we're all outside and they wanted to learn how to shot their bows they made so I'm taking them hunting but I have to use a stick to help even my weight out
"Okay let's get up in the trees" I say and Mani smiles happily and walks over to a tree and start to try and climb it by herself but key word trying and Dinah helps Ally climb it and she gets up on a branch and sits down on it moving over so Dinah helps Mila by giving her a boost and Ally helps Mila by grabbing her hand and tries her best to pull her up as Mila gets up and sits down next to Ally with a smile
Dinah then looks at Mani seeing she is still trying to get up the tree but is failing "Mani" Dinah says making Mani look at her and Dinah puts her back against the tree and crouches a little and connects her hands together and puts them between her legs so Mani walks over to her hand steps on her hand and Dinah lifts her up to the best of her abilities and Mani grabs a different branch from what Ally and Mila are on
Dinah then places Mani's feet in her shoulders and stand up properly helping Mani up as she pulls herself up on the branch and sits down on it and then Dinah gets off the tree walking over to me and Lauren before turning around so her back is facing us and look at Mani as Mani wraps her legs around the tree and goes upside down making me frown and tilt my head in confusion "what are you doing?" I ask but they ignore me and don't answer
Suddenly Dinah runs and jumps off the stump and puts her hands up to Mani and they grab hands making me raise my eyebrows impressed and Dinah gets pulled up by Mani helping Dinah grab the branch as Mani lifts Dinah's legs and pushes them up as she climbs on the branch and then does the same as Mani hanging upside down making me confused again... "Monkeys... I swear" I say witch makes Lauren chuckle before looking at me so I look at her but she looks away looking at Mani and Dinah
Lauren then smile like she knows what they are doing and runs over to them and jumps as they both grab an arm each of Lauren's and pulls her up onto the branch and she climbs on it and sits down and the other two girls get up and sit down properly and look at me as so do the other girls "okay... That was impressive"I say and they all smile proudly "we have been working on our team work skills while you have been resting" Ally says making me nod realising that this is why Lauren would always come back tired most of the time when she went out to see the girls
