After I see the smoke and see the dead leafs start to catch alight I stop and move the bowed stick and stuff away putting them down and gently blow on it making a flame start so I put sticks on top of it and then wait a little while for the fire to get bigger and once it does I put a couple of logs on top of it

"Wow... That that was just within a few minutes" Lauren says making me look at her "I know, I'm amazing" I say making her chuckle cutely at my cocky-ness even though she knows I am just messing around "I wonder how Dinah is doing" I say

Dinahs Pov

Why did I agree to this stupid challenge I can't even see where I am going... Ugh... "This is stupid" I say to myself as kitty looks at me

At least I have kitty so that make me feel better and safer as I know I can trust him but now it's getting colder and I can't even start a fire as I can see... Might as well just lay with kitty tonight to keep me warm and I'll start getting things ready in the morning

Y/n Pov

Me and Lauren at sat by the fire keeping warm and tomorrow I'll start to look out for some water and food and maybe set up a trap or two before I start working on building a shelter as I know Dinah is strong and stubborn and will hold out for a few days or even weeks as I know she is very determined to win this bet

"This might actually be fun" I say making Lauren look over to me and smile "you know Dinah won't give up without a good fight right?" She says and I nod "I know that's why it might be fun" I say making her chuckle softly before I see her shiver making me frown "you cold?" I ask and she shakes her head no but I could tell she isn't telling me the truth "come here" I say and I don't have to tell her twice as she comes over to me and I pat the ground in between my legs so she sits there in front of me as I shuffle forward pressing my front against her back and wrap my arms around her sharing my body heat

Like I said before I don't get cold that often as my body has adapted to the jungle over the years meaning I'm ready for anything the jungle throws at me but Lauren on the other hand still has trouble as she was use to the city and living in a house with a heating system of some sort but here there is only one sauce of heat, fire or my body heat if that counts then it's two

My body heat seems to help Lauren as she stops shivering and tomorrow I will have to fix this as I don't want my baby freezing due to a stupid challenge that me and Dinah made

-next morning-

Lauren is still asleep on the banana leafs that I put out so we weren't sleeping on the dirt last night and I've been working away from her so I don't wake her up and as I was building the traps for bunnies I caught one bare handed and snapped it's neck so it can't run away and I tie it around my waist with some rope I have made while making the traps and I also find some flint witch will come in handy if I want to make some quick tools and weapons so I have made a spear as it was the quickest on I can make

As I am walking around I find a little pond with out any crocodiles or leeches in it so that will be our sauce of water from now on and I continue to search around finding a coconut tree so I climb it and grab two throwing them down and climbing back down grabbing them and walk back to the camp to see Lauren is still asleep so I put the stuff down and put two sticks either side of the fire that I had attended to through out the night so it is still alive and going

I use the end of my spear to skin the bunny as I can uses its pelt as a canteen when I dry it out and all that but I put a stick through the bunny and place it over the fire resting on both of the sticks either side of the fire and put the bunny pelt near the fire as well to help it dry out before walking away to get on with some more work

I make some more rope as I know I am going to need it for tools so I walk back over to the rock that is flint and bash off some more pieces of it and find a few that will be good for a knife and hatchet so I then walk around looking for some good handles for them and it doesn't take me that long to find some so I start assembling the together

After I had done that I think that I should make a bow and a few arrows with the extra flint that I had broken off of the flint rock so I get to it and after what seemed like hours but was actually minutes I was done and Lauren had woken up and came and found me "you've been busy" she says making me look up at her as she walks over to me "hey baby, did you sleep well?" I ask as I know she kept moving in her sleep last night

"Could of been better" she says honestly with a little tired voice making me look down at the bamboo on the floor but stand up "well that's going to be fixed today, why don't you go back to the fire the food should be ready by now" I say as I walk over to her as she watches me "okay" she says but doesn't move as she then puts her arms out for me as I get to her
