-George's POV-

I opened my eyes, dizzy. Feeling arms around me I pushed Nick onto the floor beside me. "HEY!" I chuckled sitting up and getting out of bed. I looked around, surprised to see Tommy huddled up in the corner of the room. "Hey Tommy-" He gave me a deadly look. 'Shut up!' He whisper yelled. I was confused until I heard voices outside of the door, as the sun shone into the room. I quietly walked up to the door, listening to conversation outside. "Listen up here, this is OUR territory, so let us in to catch your other little friend, or this guy gets it."

"H-Hey, how about we make some sort of deal?" Floris sounded genuinely scared. "What kind of deal?" A man said in a serious tone. "You want food, right? If you l-let Toby go, we'll give you half our stalk-"

"All of it." The man spoke. "W-What?" Floris stuttered. "I said all of it." My eye's widened as I heard a gun go off. "I SAID NOW! OR HE REALLY GETS IT!" I felt myself get pushed out of the way as Tommy slammed the door open. "NO!" Tommy screamed as the door was open, revealing myself. I saw two men armed with guns, covered in dirt, and nearly naked. The other man quickly grabbed Tommy, pointing his gun to Tommy's head as the other man already had his gun to Toby's head. "How many of ya are there?" The man holding Toby asked, pointing the gun at me. Neither of us answered. "Tell us the truth, or they both get-" My jaw dropped in surprise as Floris tackled one of the men freeing Toby as I quickly lunged onto the other before he could hurt Tommy. A gun fired, it wasn't this one because I disarmed the man as Nick picked up the pistol and pointed it to the mans head. I looked to see if anyone got hurt, but thankfully no one had been shot as Floris disarmed the man. "P-PLEASE DON'T HURT ME! MY WIFE IS HURT AND WE J-JUST NEED FOOD AND SUPPLIES!" The man Nick was pointing the gun explained. "How'd you even get in the school, huh?" Nick asked. "We c-climbed in last night, the window was already broken and we found a l-ladder outside and-"

"Enough." Floris said. "You will leave, and NEVER come back here EVER again, and if you do..." I watched as Floris dug his nails into the neck of one of the men. "YOU WON'T LIVE TO SEE ANOTHER DAY!" Floris sounded a bit more aggressive than I thought he would. He wasn't even holding the gun the other man had. "C-can you at least spare some medication f-for my brothers w-wife?" Floris was fuming with anger. "If you were nicer, maybe you would've had a chance." Floris's nails began to draw blood from the mans neck as he grabbed the gun and slid it behind him towards Toby. "I-I'm sorry mister fox man!" The man cried out as Floris began to growl. "I-I think that's enough, Floris." I said walking over to him. Floris got off of the man as he backed away. "Now, show us to your wife, we'll guide you to the exit." Nick said as he continued to point the gun at the man as they both showed us to the mans wife.

We opened the door and her entire arm had vines growing out of it as bubbles of puss trailed along the rest of it. Her arm also looked like it was rotting away. Her face was red and she was sweating, passed out. The man picked up his wife as, his brother grabbed a bag. "What's in there?" Nick said in a serious tone. "The l-last of our food supply! Please d-don't take it from us!"

"Fine, that's all you get." Nick, Floris and I led them to the exit as Toby and Tommy followed, but I stopped them. "You guys go back to Jude, we'll be back in a minute." I said. Toby nodded grabbed Tommy's arm and leading him back. We led them down the steps and towards the front exit, which was the only one which wasn't blocked. I opened the door as they walked outside. They turned around and looked at us. "Maybe we could spare them something-" I suggested, but Floris cut me off. "No. We aren't giving them ANYTHING." Floris spoke in a tone which made that clear and nothing was going to change his mind.

We stood there as they finally turned around and began walking away. "We need a patrol." Nick spoke once they were far enough away so they couldn't hear us. "Yeah, but we don't have near enough people to completely protect this place." I mentioned. "Well, how about in a few more days, we go on a supply hunt. For things like batteries, maybe even some water bottles. And some other things except medication, since we have plenty of that."
