-Darryl's POV-

"So, what do you think we'll need Zak?" I saw he was thinking for a moment before speaking up, "We'll need flashlights with extra batteries in case the lights down there turn off. We will need some snacks and water. Hmm ... Maybe a blanket?" I was confused, "Why a blanket?"

"Well, what if we got stuck down there and it got cold?" I mean, he had a point. Although that probably won't happen, you can never be too ready. "Is that everything Zak?" I was trusting that Zak would know all the right things we should bring. "I think so ..."

Then, I proceeded to go upstairs to my bedroom, where I had an old hiking backpack that I'd use if I ever went up to the mountains with Lucy. Speaking of Lucy, maybe I could ask my brother or sister if they could watch Lucy for me, just in case anything bad happens while Zak and I are gone. I opened my closet, pulling out the backpack. I opened all the zippers making sure it was empty before I headed back downstairs.

To my surprise, Zak already had found some water bottles and was filling them up inside the kitchen. One of the water bottles was bronze, while the other was silver. After Zak was done filling up the water bottles in the sink. I watched as he began rummaging through all of my cabinets, which I wasn't very happy about. "Zak, need help finding some snacks to bring?" He looked over at me before nodding. I walked over to where he was and opened one of the cabinets revealing lots of chips.

"Zak, choose some, but not everything." He sighed, disappointed. I watched as he got some Doritos and Sour Cream and Onion. He handed them to me before going into another cabinet next to it, pulling out some peanuts.

"Do we really need peanuts Zak?" He looked at me with a surprised face. "OF COURSE WE DO! If we get trapped down there, we eat lots of nuts so all of our pee gets absorbed-" I cut him off. "LANGUAGE!"

"WHAT?! I JUST SAID PEE! IT'S NOT LIKE I SAID PISS, OR DICK JUICE-" I looked at him angrily. "LAN-GUA-GE!" He sighed. Then, he handed me the peanuts. "Where are the flashlights Darryl? ... Oh, and the blanket of course." Then a question popped into mind, "Why only one blanket?". He just shrugged. I sighed, one blanket it is. "Zak, I'll go grab the flashlights and the blanket, you wait here, ok?"

He nodded. I placed what Zak had given me inside of the bag, as I walked upstairs into my bedroom. As I stepped inside, I pulled the blanket off of my bed. Lucy was in my room, confused as to what was going on. I sighed, carrying the blanket back downstairs, shoving it into the backpack with it barely being able to fit into one of the many pockets. Then, I tried to remember where I put the flashlights last time I got back from my trip, unless they were in my basement ...

I walked towards the staircase that lead to my basement, walking down it. Each step I took one of the stairs beneath my feet creaked quite loudly. I made it to the bottom of the stairs, turning the light on. I saw all of the shelves I had everywhere, so I began searching for some flashlights.

As I looked around, I not only found four flashlights, but a cardboard box of unused batteries that I left there just in case. I placed the flashlights in the box of batteries as I headed back upstairs, turning the basements light off behind me. Once upstairs, seeing the backpack, I walked over to it, opening one of the pockets, dumping all the flashlights and batteries in together.

"Hey Darryl, where do you think that weird little robot circle guy went?" I glanced over at Zak who was watching me from my brown lounging chair. "First of all Zak, it was a sphere, not a circle. Secondly, I think we just completely forgot about it." He rolled his eyes at me for correcting him. I walked over to my backpack, picking it up and putting it on. "Zak, get your shoes on, I'm going to quickly get my phone." He walked to me as I walked over to the kitchen, where my phone sat atop the counter.
