"And like the moon she had a side of her so dark, that even the stars couldn't shine on it; she had a side of her so cold, that even the sun couldn't burn on it."- Abigail J.

I entered the appartment bags in tow. Keigo cautiously walked up to me as if he were approaching a wounded animal. His mannerism were slow and non threatening. He tried to ensure I wouldn't flee as I did earlier.

I drop my bags walking up to him, wrapping my arms around his neck. "I'm so sorry Keigo" I muffle into his chest. He hesitantly places his arms around me letting me get used to it before gently squeezing. Breathing in his scent his warmth calming me.

"I didn't mean to startle you before, I wanted to apologize but you left. I just wanted to make sure you were okay." He pressed his cheek to the top of my head.

"I'm okay," pushing away the thoughts that tormented my dreams. He rested his hands on my shoulders looking into my eyes. The apartment was silent with the exception of our chests rising and falling. Then it was broken.

"We'll take it easy for tomorrow, focus on healing then. If your up for it we'll train" his gold eyes gazing into mine. A small ok escapes my lips without a second thought.

"The agency is having you take me in, right?" I look down. I don't want to be a burden on him. I'm weak I'll just slow him down. He's taken time off just to be here. I feel bad.

He grasps my chin softly lifts my head  to meet his gaze. "I suggested for you to train with me." His words were pleading to my reason. "I've missed you and what's a better way to keep you close." I embraced him tightly biting my lip as my skin strains. The a dull ache in my chest begins to subside. I've missed him, his playful antics, his warm embrace, his older brother tone I've missed it all so much. Tears well up as I think of my loneliness when he was gone.

We had spent the rest of the night catching up. He told me of his great hero adventures and how the media hounds him often. I was a little nervous about all the unwanted attention that I would undoubtedly get.

It was now morning and Keigo is an absolute terror. He came in my room and ripped open the blinds. Letting the sunlight flood in, "Y/n wake up." He chirped at me, he's never this chipper in the morning. I groan pulling to blanket over my head. He tore the covers from my grip telling me to get up. I did as I was told dragging my body from the bed.

I ignore his zealous mood as I obtain my morning energy in liquid form. "Why did you get me up so early?" I groan cupping the mug in my hands.

"I was wondering if you'd show me your quirk," he knows what my quirk is I'm sure he wants to reassess my level for training. I leave my cup as I take off the bandage, exposing the scaring wound. Moving to hawks I run my hand over the tissue. With a glowing sheen the cells begin to heal before our eyes.

"Okay, what about item generation and water manipulation," he says seriously.

I hold a ball of water in the air focusing on heating the liquid. Bubbles begin to rise as the water boils, sweat rolls down my face. I convert to cooling, the process takes longer but eventually ice crystals begin form. When they stop hawks glances at me and I drop the ball of ice on the counter.

Chest heaving as my lungs filled with air, my body in a cold sweat. I stand making my way to the middle of the room. I consecrate on forming a dagger, pulling iron from my body and putting it into the water. Creating a blade from water that wont break is the tricky part. What really needs to happen is putting the metal to the surface then heating it to form a layer of metal then rapidly cooling it. The entire process is extremely hard to do and isn't a guarantee. In all honesty carrying a real dagger would be easier. But Keigo wanted to see what I could do.

My legs begin to shake as the dagger is half done. I'm no longer sweating my mouth runs dry. My body trying desperately to hydrate itself. I whip the finished item across the room into a cabinet. Leaving a hole in the wood before the blade shatters. Hawks looked pleased as I made my way to a stool at the counter.

"That was pretty good kid. Just like I remember," he smiles as if caught up in an old memory.

"I wasn't good with my quirk back then either," I smile. I always hated training with my quirk. I was six when it appeared my aunt and I were standing at my parents grave. The cool rain had turned from boiling drops of water to hail... it was the middle of the summer.

"So tomorrow were heading to the agency to train," his hand ruffles my hair before he disappears down the hall. I pick up my mug taking a sip of the warm liquid. I just got up and I'm already exhausted. I decided to take the rest of the day to rehydrate for tomorrow. I had a feeling Keigo wouldn't be going easy on me.
