Even though the first of Hinata's quicks had unbelievably perfect timing, the following attempts seemed to have much more difficulty.  Finally, when the score reached 15-22 with your team behind, you made your decision.  It was about time you brought out your true weapon.

Your breathing slowed as you approached the ball, your eyes glinting in determination, and the moment you took off, the strange phenomenon that accompanied your leaps took place -- time seemed to slow almost to a stop.  You were suspended in air, your sharp eyes watching both the ball which approached you as well as Tsukishima, who was lining up for the block.  You had noticed throughout the duration of the game that, although he didn't seem like he knew exactly what it was he was doing, sometimes he would manage to line himself up with your right arm to limit your options completely on instinct, and that's exactly what he did this time.  He made his jump, his teeth gritting as he met you with a resolve of his own.

In other words, the timing was perfect.

The gym watched as your body moved in preparation for your spike.  The only problem was, you were moving the opposite way from what you were supposed to.  Even though everything seemed to be moving so slowly, Tsukishima couldn't force his own body to move any faster.  It was like lead had filled his arms and legs ever since the moment you took off.  Suddenly, your graceful arm had cut through the air as your left hand slammed the ball down, leaving yet another mark on the floor as the ball went untouched.

It was silent.  No one knew how to react to what they just saw.  You couldn't actually have just done that, right?  No one should be able to do that!

"Woah, (L/N), that was awesome!" Hinata's voice cut through the silence as he jumped all around you.  He paused suddenly, tilting his head down at you.  "But aren't you a righty?  Why did you just hit with your left hand?"

This seemed to knock Kageyama out of his stupor.  "What the hell was that?!" He shouted as he stomped his way over to you, his face growing red in anger.

"Oh, well Tsukishima was lined up with my right arm, so I decided to hit with my left instead," you shrugged.  "I figured it'd throw them off a little."

"Since when could you hit with both hands?!" Kageyama screamed.

"Since always?" You tilted your head curiously.  "Weren't you curious why I asked you to line up with the center of my body instead of my right arm?  Anyways, I don't use it too often because my left hand isn't as strong as my right."

The entire gym turned to look at the mark that had been left on the ground.  That was considered not as strong?  This new first year was... a devil.

"Tsukki?  Are you ok?" Tadashi's voice cut into the tall boy's thoughts.

"Y-yeah, I just... Got a little caught off guard for a second there," he muttered shakily, still unable to take his eyes off of you.  He'd already felt the sensation of being a little bit scared by you before when you had sent that chilling stare his way, but this was different.  When you were up in the air like that, your sharp eyes focused on nothing else but the ball, it felt like he was nothing more than an ant to you -- like he was a soft breeze that was barely even able to slightly ruffle your hair.  In other words, when you were in your element, you seemed untouchable, and you were absolutely terrifying.

"Alright, let's do it again!" You cheered, clapping your hands in excitement.  Kageyama and Hinata both nodded, and all three of you turned to face your opponents.  It was time to finish this.

As the game went on, things started to become more and more tense.  Everyone was sweating bullets, putting their all into every movement -- whether it be into attacking for your team or defending for Tsukki's.  In the end, though, when the final whistle blew, your team won by a pretty decent margin.
