Ray snickered.

"What are you saying, Norman?" Ray asked, playing dumb.

"You already know by now right?" Norman said. "I set a trap for three people."

"To Don, I said the ropes were under my bed." Norman said. "To Gilda, I said that it was in the ceiling of the second-floor bathroom."

"That's what I told you, Ray."

"But actually, I told Don that it was in the dining hall. And Gilda that it was in the library." Norman said, staring right at him. Ray's expression changed after he said that.

"Then the rope under my bed suddenly dissapeared." Norman said. "What about the other two locations? Shall we go check them out?"

Ray sat down on the bed. Sighing before laying down, covering the upper part of his face with his hand. He knew he was caught now, then it's time to show what he's been doing.

He let out a laugh. "Damn, and I thought I was doing well."

Ray got up and sat properly. He turned his head to Norman and smirked. "That's right, I'm Mom's spy."

"When did you start suspecting me?" Ray asked him.

"The day Sister Krone went inside this house." Norman said. "I was disgusted by myself for thinking such a thing." He smiled softly. "You were the first person I suspected."

"I really hoped that it wasn't true." He added on. "It was a supposition for the worst case."

"But for us, it would be most problematic if you are the traitor. And from the enemy's point of view, it would be beneficial if you are the traitor."

"You can give opinions to our plans and control us however you like." Norman explained furthermore. "No one else fits the job perfectly."

Ray was still smirking, looking at him smugly. "And that's why you suspected me."

"And that's how I walked into your trap, huh?"

"One more thing." Norman said. "You're not a traitor set up just for this matter, right?" Norman asked him.

Ray's smirk faltered and looked dead serious. "Mom would never trust an impromptu spy for any matter." Norman walked towards him. "How long have you been Mama's spy?"

"From a long time ago." Ray said, making Norman surprised. "I've been Mama's subordinate from a very long time ago."

"Basically a sheepdog for a shepherd."

"You knew about everything and assisted Mom this whole time?" Norman asked, who looked at him in shock.

"Yeah." Ray answered.

"Was everything a lie?" Norman asked in a shaky voice. "All the time spent preparing with Emma and me?"

"What and how much did you tell Mama?" Norman asked. "The tracking devices can be broken, right?"
