Escaping from the wall

While they were helping the children, (Y/N) gazed at Ray for a second. Ray had noticed her stare. Clearing his throat, he turns to her. "Is something wrong?"

She blinked twice, looking back at the house. "I don't know, I'm escaping right now. It feels so surreal."

She smiled, glancing at Ray. "Thank you for convincing me to escape and rethink my choices."

"I'm glad that you have thought of your choices and didn't thought of dying for us." Ray said, looking away.

"Hey, Ray." She called out to him. "Since when did your birthday got so lit?"

Ray turned to her in shock. Did she just crack a joke, right now? She started to laugh. "Your face is priceless."

"I'm just kidding." She said, still laughing. After her laughter died down, she turned to him. A soft smile plastered on her face. "Happy birthday, Ray."

"Yeah." Ray looked down. "Happy birthday to me, I guess."

"Don't look so down." She said. "You're twelve now, isn't that exciting?"

"We finally escape from the farm they disguised as our home." She said, looking back. "Well, it wasn't home to me really."

"But well, we will make a new home out there right?" She said, turning to the forest.

"Yeah." Ray said. "I hope so."

Norman's sickness

(Y/N) was sitting on Norman's table, looking at the papers Norman was writing on. It was a boring day, sure. But everything changed when all of a sudden the others were acting weird.

"You're not cold, are you?" Vincent asked Norman, holding a coat that has 'boss' written all over it. She cringed at his behavior.

Norman was confused. "Make sure you eat!" Barbara said, holding out a plate with cooked meat on it.

"Is that demon meat?" Norman asked, disgusted.

"Enough for today! You need to sleep!" Cislo came running in with a pillow.

"What's going on? Why are all of you suddenly being so overprotective?" Norman asked, confused.

"Well you used to be weak before, right?" Cislo said. "We heard.."

Then, (Y/N) bursts out of laughing. "You heard that from Ray and Emma, didn't you?"

"Yeah." Barbara answered.

A horrified expression spreads throughout of Norman's face, he runs out of the room to go and see Ray and Emma. (Y/N) was about to sprint and follow him but Barbara held her back. "Hey Athena! No running."

"What?" She turned to her.

"That kid with bangs told us you were always tired from running back then." She said, while Vincent and Cislo nodded.

She furrowed his eyebrows. "I am so going to kill him." She turned to the door and ran out of the room.

"I guess they're not really weak now?" Cislo said.

"Maybe we were being over the top too." Barbara said.

"Meh." Cislo and Barbara shrugged.
