Two years.

It has been two years since (Y/N) has been peacefully sleeping. Breathing and alive with monitors by her side. Sleeping like a princess, as Phil would call her.

They've already found Emma. She didn't have any memory of them. Though, she said she felt like she knows them. Emma, that idiot. She did sacrifice herself.

Ray opened the door revealing a white and blue painted room. With the small lounge by the bright wide window to the bed where (Y/N) was resting. Her side table was full of flowers, dangling and standing up straight. They were her favorite.

He remembered when she mentioned her favored flower. Under the tree, talking about things. That was a nice memory to have.

Putting the flowers by her side, he sat on the stool that was already by her bed. Sighing, he rested his head with his palm. Fiddling with (Y/N)'s warm fingers, staring at her. "When will you wake up?"

"You know, we've found Emma now." Ray started to talk, rubbing her hand with his. "That idiot, she did sacrifice herself for us. She even lost all of her memories."

"I mentioned you to her. She said she couldn't wait and meet you." He smiled. "She was so excited. Typical Emma."

"The whole family is coming over tonight." He said. "So that's why, please wake up soon."

"I have things too many things I want to do with you." He said. Sighing, he held her hand fully. "The perks of being in love."

"It's been two years and now I find out I just don't like you. I love you." He chuckled. "This is really a nice feeling, don't you think?"

"I hope, you feel the same." He said, laying his head by the side of the bed. Closing his eyes, he drifted to sleep.

"Ray, you know you can't sleep here!" A loud voice boomed from the door.

He groaned and looked to see who it was. "Gilda go away." He whined.

"Fine, I guess I can leave you." Gilda rolled her eyes before slamming the door shut. "Dinner starts around six so be awake by then!"

Ray sighed and rested his head on the side of the mattress once again. Yawning, he faced the window. Finally drifting to slumber.

"Close the curtains." A familiar voice said. The afternoon sun was shining at his face when he opened his eyes. He rubbed his eyes, looking at (Y/N).

Expecting for her to be asleep, she wasn't. Ray thought he was hallucinating, but he wasn't. "Hurry up, it's too bright."

He halted and blinked in confusion and shock. She's awake, all fully awake. He hugged her immediately, making the girl groan in response.

"Ow, get off me." She complained, pushing him off. Smiling, she patted his cheek and pointed at the window. "Please, the curtains."

"This is what you greet after waking up? How bossy." Ray playfully glared.

Ray chuckled and got up to close the curtains. Once it was done, he made way to the small tab by the bedside table. Clicking some things here and there, he informed everyone that (Y/N) was officially awake. Calling for a doctor, using the tab, they were alerted.

He noticed that (Y/N) was staring at the window, curious and delighted. "Are we in the human world, Ray?"

"Yes, we are." He replied, putting the transparent tablet down. Sitting down by her side, he turned to her. He reached out to her face, carefully placing her hair away from her eyes.
