       "So how was the stables Kate?" Mrs. Grose asked.

"They were really nice, it's a very big place here," said Kate.

"Oh yes, I get lost myself sometimes," Mrs. Grose responded.

Kate laughed.

"That's a cool sweater," Kate says to Miles.

"Thanks," Miles responded.

"You shouldn't be wearing that," Flora whispered to his, but loud enough so everyone could hear it.

"He wanted me to have it," Miles said.

"Who's is it your dad's?" Kate asked.

"It's Quint's," Miles said with a pause.

"Who's Quint?" Kate said confused.

"He was the riding instructor," Y/N explained.

"He managed the estate, he was the best," Miles said happily.

"Oh and he's not here anymore?" Kate questioned.

"He died," Miles said.

"Oh,"

"Everyone dies Miles," Flora said while interrupting Kate.

"Well I'm going to go get the table set up for dinner," Mrs. Grose said trying to break the awkward silence.

"Thank you Mrs. Grose," Kate said.

"Of course, is there anything else anyone needs" Mrs. Grose asked.

Everyone shook their head no.

"Okay I'll be on my way now," Mrs. Grose said while walking to the kitchen.

"What are we going to do next Kate?" Flora asked.

"Well maybe if we finish dinner early we can play tag for a little bit," Kate said.

"Yay," Flora exclaimed.

"But only for a little bit, we have to clean up and get ready for bed like I said before," Kate said.

"Awe," Flora said while looking down.

"But hey, we have all tomorrow," Kate said trying to brighten the mood.

"Can we hang out with Miles and Y/N tomorrow, it's their last day before they go back to school," Flora asked.

"Of course, if they want to they can," Kate said.

"We're fine with it Kate," Y/N said really fast before Miles could say anything.

Mrs. Grose called all of them into the dining room.

"Dinner is ready!" Mrs. Grose yelled.

They all walking into the room.

"Wow, this looks really nice, thank you Mrs. Grose," Kate said.

"You're welcome, so eat up," Mrs. Grose said walking out of the dining room.

They all finished dinner and started getting cleaned up.

"Kate beware, Flora is a sleep walker," Miles said.

"I am not a sleep walker," Flora said.

"How would you know if your asleep the whole time silly," Miles said while smiling at Flora.

Flora and Kate laughed while walking upstairs.

"So how long have Miles and Y/N been together for," Kate asked Flora.

"A year, Y/N moved in here because Miles switched schools," Flora explained.

"Oh, she lives here?" Kate asked.

"Yup," Flora said while skipping up the stairs.

"That's Miles' room," Flora said, pointing at the dark room down the hallway. "And that's mine right next to it,"

"What's down there?" Kate asked while pointing to the other side of the hallway.

"That's the East wing, I don't go in that part of the house," Flora answered.

"Why not?" Kate questioned.

"Don't wanna," Flora said.

Kate looked at her confused.

Flora and Kate walked into Kate's bedroom.

"This is your room," Flora said while sitting on Kate's bed.

"This is mine?" Kate asked.

"Yup," Flora said, popping the "p".

"Wow, all for me," Kate exclaimed.

"I'm tired," Flora whined.

"Okay, go brush your teeth and I'll tuck you in," Kate said.

"Okay," Flora said while running down the hall. Flora brushed her teeth and went in her room. "KATEEEEE!!!" Flora yelled.

"I'm coming!" Kate yelled while walking into Flora's room.

"Tuck me in," Flora said.

"Sweet dreams," Kate whispered while tucking her in.

"Thank you," Flora said, closing her eyes.

Kate walked out of Flora's room. The room only lit up by Flora's blue night light.
