Sanaya entered her home to see the pillars, railings, and walls decorated with fairy lights all shades of gold and orange.
"wow what's all this?"
Workers went past and Sanaya could see at the bottom of the stairs her Dadee explaining to one of the workers to put the lights on neatly and to check the fuse box for any technical problems.
Sanaya put her school bag down on one of the couches and went up to Dadee.
Sanaya: uh Dadee, what's with all the decoration?
Dadee: all these decorations and lighting are for the upcoming festival of lights, Diwali .
Sanaya: what Diwali already?
Dadee: Diwali is this Sunday the 30th of October and will end till 3rd November and yes we're having a big party on the 1st day!
Sanaya: ughhh, I hate parties!
Dadee: I know but it's Diwali and plus as the only young person and presumable heir you will be doing the Maha arti this year!
Sanaya's eyes widened, the Maha arti was a tradition in the Oberoi family which Dadee had told her about when she was young, the previous years Priya had done it Sanaya wondered why she was going to do it this year!
Sanaya: why do I have to do the Maha arti this year?
Dadee: because your the only child of this house the Ganesha arti and Lakshmi pooja will be more successful this year if you do it.
Sanaya: okay then, there will be a party which I know Zainab will like, and I will be doing the Maha arti this year!
Dadee: perfect dear, can you go to my room and get the invitations it should be on my bed.
Sanaya: okay, oh and should I give them out later today!
Dadee: yeah just change then hand the invites out.
Sanaya: okay!
Sanaya grabbed her school bag and ran upstairs to her room to first get changed.
Time Skip~
Sanaya came up to her Dadee in the worship room, where there were statues of Ganesha, Laskhmi, Durga, Saraswati and on the side the Sita, Ram, Lakshman statues!
Dadee was siting down on the floor lighting a candle.
Sanaya went through the invitations that were all in envelopes in front the name was written in gold. She stopped pulling them up and back on a particular name.
Sanaya: Dadee!
Dadee looked up saying "yes Sanaya!?" and went back to lighting the candle.
Sanaya: Dadee I've given out most of the invitations and handed the one's I couldn't give out to Khanna but why is their an invitation for Aryanshu Singhania?
Dadee: Aryanshu Singhania?
Sanaya: uh Aryan Singhania, its his full name I call him by but why a Diwali celebration invite?
Dadee: remember we went to his mother's party, they invited us so now we're inviting them.
Sanaya: the right thing to do but...
Dadee: but nothing, this Diwali try and be a little nicer to him.
Sanaya: me, be nice to him, never!
Dadee: okay fine, at least give him the invitation personally.
Sanaya: fine!
At Singhania Mansion...
DING DONG!
Aryan: yeah yeah!
DING DONG!
Aryan: I'm coming, I'm coming!
Aryan opened the doors to see his great enemy in front of him. He was surprised, 1st time she came up to his house.
Aryan: what's up Sweetheart!
Sanaya squinted her eyes at him.
Aryan: you must have a big reason to come to my house!
Sanaya: just shut up and take this!
Sanaya gave out the invitation, Aryan snatched it out of her hands. He read the name and opened the envelope pulling out the card, he read it.
Aryan: sweetheart, your really inviting me to one of your most infamous Diwali parties I'll for sure come.
Sanaya: this isn't just for you it's for your brothers and parents, tell your mother I say hi, goodbye Aryanshu!
Sanaya went away and Aryan closed the door behind her.
Aryan: aah Sweetheart, when will you understand.
He threw the invitation down on the glass table, his brother Daksh shouted out for him.
Daksh: Aryan bro, have you seen Kishan bro anywhere? Mom's been looking for him for ages.
Aryan: no probably playing PlayStation with Rohan, btw were going to a Diwali party this Sunday!
Daksh: Diwali party? Who's?
Aryan: my Sweetheart Sanaya's having a party and invited us.
Daksh: wow that's new, she hates us, mostly you.
Aryan: aah, I don't care, I'm going!

Finally Sanaya managed to give out all the remaining invites. She called up Khanna to double check if the invites have been sent out on his end.
