After a series of walk-ins shop by shop, had an argument about money and paid a nasty repayment check because Renjun unintentionally cracked a mug that I beg him to buy, we have finally made it to the car."You're enjoying this too much." Renjun huffed while carrying the plastic bags filled with the items he'd bought for me.
Of course I'm carrying my fair share of items too. A toothbrush and a toothpaste.
"I said necessities, why did you wanna buy the mug! I waste almost a thousand dollars because of you."
"It's cute." I shrugged and tuck a loose strand of hair behind my ear.
"That's an antique, my god!" He exasperated, frustration evident on his face. He unlocks the car and seemingly throw the bags inside it.
I got into the car as well while he revs up the engine.
"You better pay me." He glared at me one last time before we drive away from the mall, on the way to his grandma's house.

Huge clouds floats like cotton candies in the wide blue sky. The sun shines brightly as its rays flashes a beautiful colour of beige on the clouds as I stare in wonderment.
On the right side of the bumpy road, paddy fields swayed gently as the breeze skimmed through them. A vast field located on the left side was occupied by a group of children playing football to fill their afternoon time. Joyous laughter rings throughout the almost empty neighbourhood while they dribble the ball with excitement.
The sight made me feel giddy inside as it's my first time being in this type of environment.
Renjun noticed my beaming face while I stare outside, "You look like you've never gone out before." Renjun commented sarcastically.
"No." I smiled replying to him, "I rarely go out." I said.
"Most of the time — back at my home, I never really hang out with anyone. Having curfews and strict parents is what I'm used to. The only place I ever visit everyday is the neighbourhood's playground."
Renjun looks at me pathetically, "You sound like a loner. Which is not surprising." He said.
I roll my eyes hearing his remark. Irritation rises in me but I chose to back down.
"I just.. I think getting kidnapped isn't bad after all, you know?" I glance at him.
He side eyed me, "No, I don't know."
I shake my head, "I'm just saying that this is kinda like a one in a lifetime adventure." I grinned.
Renjun sigh, "Well if you think this adventure of yours is gonna turn out fun, you're wrong princess." He said, "I can guarantee that much."
"I mean like," I turned sideways so I could face him, "you guys aren't all that bad." I gesture towards him.
"Then tell me what do you think about Taeyong?" He asked.
I blink at the name, "Um.. he's fine? I guess?" I was hesitant with my answer.
"Fine?" He scoffed. "Then what about Winwin?" He cocks a brow.
I awkwardly laugh, "Yeah.." I snap my finger in realisation, "he's out of the picture." I nod approvingly.
Renjun hums, "Thought so." He said, knowing already what I think about Winwin.
"I guess you're right." I agreed.
"I'm always right." He smirked.
Thinking about Taeyong and Winwin really made me shiver. Their aura is definitely intimidating. Even their stare is menacing, as if they could see through me. Sure they're devilishly hot men, but my soul can't take it when they're near me. I can literally pass out.
Renjun steps on the brake and unbuckles his seatbelt afterwards.
"We're here." He announced.
Instantly, my assumptions about Taeyong and Winwin disappear as my eyes widen in excitement hearing we've arrived.
In front of us is a small cozy house with small plants outside the front yard.
The house itself is the definition of joyfulness. The walls were painted with different shades of colours making it stand out from most of the other houses. Cute wooden chairs were placed on the porch with a little cactus plant on the table.
I rush to follow Renjun who was already standing outside.
"It's so..." I trailed, eyes shining with content.
"Eye soring? I know. Granny should've thought twice before painting her house rainbows." He sigh deeply.
"I meant to say cute and colourful." I blanked an expression.
He stare at me, "Oh. Well, our opinions are different it seems." He shrugged.
Renjun pulled out the bags and kicks the door close, "Are you gonna help me or what?" He fixed his gaze on me.
"Oop sorry." I move to his side and help him carry them.
He shoves the bag containing my clothes to me harshly.
"Hey!"
"Hey!" He mimicked me before chuckling. Rather, pulling up a smug face at me.
I grumble, "Thank god there's your granny. I can't live with you." I whisk away and head towards the front door, not waiting for him.
I could hear him mocking me from behind. So I whip my head back towards him, eyes squinting from the fierce sunlight.
His silly gestures stop in an instant as he swiftly takes the rest of the groceries and locks the car, acting like nothing had happen.
He walks right pass me, didn't even spare me a glance as he whistles, skipping in his steps a little.
I narrow my eyes at him suspiciously but follows after him nevertheless.
He knocks on the door, "Nai!"
We can hear footsteps coming nearer from inside the house. Shortly after that, a click sound was heard before the knob turns and the door opens — revealing a short, aged lady in front of us.
I suppose that's granny or Nai, I figured.
"Junjun!" Granny smiled and engulfs Renjun in a big hug.
Jun..jun?
