I changed into my pink night slip and slippers.  I walked into the kitchen and grabbed some fish out of the fridge. I chopped it up and made a few small sushi rolls. I popped one in my mouth as five of them were placed in her food dish, and the last eight or so were wrapped and placed back into the fridge. I patted Ujo on the head one more time, before grabbing a bag of chips and retiring to my room to complete my homework.

I had finally finished my work around seven or so. I layed on my bed deep in thought. Then grabbed my phone to make a call. “Hello?” “Hey Ru-chan. I need a favor.” “Sure. What is it Yuki-chan?” “Could you get my homework for tomorrow? I won’t be there.” “Mind if I ask why you’re not gonna be there?” “Doctors appointment.” “Ahh. Alright. Miyuki, are you alright? I mean from earlier?” I sighed. “Haruhi. It was just a small scratch that should heal up in about a day or two.” I heard her sigh. “That’s not what I meant.” ‘Hey Ruu-chan I gotta go. Talk to you later.” “Um. Ok-” “Bye.” Click. After hanging up with Haruhi, I decided to actually make a doctors appointment.

The next day, Friday, was a very slow day. Haruhi E-mailed me my homework that I had finished while in the doctors office around 4:15. Since Ujo had tagged along, I decided to do some grocery shopping and buy her some cat treats, since she had just run out.

After making it home later than expected, around six or seven, considering I walked the whole way instead of getting someone to drive me, my mom called. “Heya.” I answered. “Hey Miyu. Could you do me a huge favor and write some recipies for me? I’m going to be having dinner with some very important clients who are vegetarian, and the restaurant he wants to eat at is the one you and me opened, ToYuki, which doesn’t have any vegetarian dishes at the moment. So could you write about, say maybe four or five of them.. And then could you come up with some vegan recipies for our bakery The YuToma? Like a couple of cake ideas and some cookies or something? Then could you E-mail them to me? Sorry, I know this is a whole lot to ask  for last minute.” I smiles. “So you need them Emailed to you by tomorrow? At what time?” I heard her sigh. “I was hoping to get them by 8am tomorrow.” I smiled. “I’ll have them to you before then. I’ll also send pictures of what it should look like, and a step by step dialog. I’ll also add it to our recipe archive.” I heard her sigh in relief on the other end of the phone. “Thank you soo much sweetie. I owe you big time for this one.” “No prob mom. Just make sure when people ask, you tell them that I was the mastermind behind the recipe.” “You know I always do.” “Any special ingredient I need to avoid or focus on?” I asked. “Well… The CEO of this computer company loves mushrooms. And she’s bringing her business partner by the bakery tomorrow morning for a breakfast roll. Her business partner… He’s Vegan. So I’m not sure how that plays out. But they both like sweets, so I want a couple of dishes that they can choose from, at breakfast, brunch, and dinner.” “You’re spending all that time just to make a business deal?” I questioned. “We want to make sure that we’re compatible. And we need to get to know each other as people before trusting the other person with parts of a company that we strived so hard to gain ourselves.” “Ahh. That makes sence. Well, get back to making arrangements for their hotels and such. Where are you exactly?” “I’m in Yokohama right now. I’ll be back late after tomorrow. Probably around 3am Sunday morning. So if you have any parties, make sure they’re done by then.” She laughed sarcastically. “Alright mom. I’m gonna start cookin, so I’ll talk to you later.” “Alright sweetie. Thanks a bunch. Love ya lots.” “Love ya lots.” I repeated, then we both hung up. I looked at Ujo, who was spread out, laying her stomach onto my ankle. “Well. I guess I should get cookin.” She hopped up, then followed me to the kitchen.
