I spent hours talking with my father about anything and everything. I told him how many friends I had made, and my reunion with Haruhi. I talked a lot about all of them, keeping a smile on my face the entire time. “You speak highly of them. I’ll have to meet them all one day.” My smile grew, if that was even possible. “Of coarse!” I got up to make both my parents and me some snacks while we debated weather or not to order out for dinner.

NO ONE’S POV

“How has she been lately? I know moving schools at the same time as moving location can be hard on someone her age.” Miyuki’s father asked lowly. “She’s doing way better than either of us could have ever expected. She’s quickly adapted, and found herself some true friends that stick by her, even though they know her family lineage. She defeated A Shounen in school, and in front of them no doubt. These are the kind of friends we’ve been waiting for her to find. Friends that aren’t afraid of her, and treat her like anyone should be treated.” Her father gave out a sigh of relief. “Good to hear. I’m glad she’s getting along well.” He gave out another sigh. “I’m also glad to see that smile of hers brighter than it’s ever been.”

MIYUKI’S POV

I returned with a plate of sushi rolls, crackers, and tea. “I think we should order out tonight.” My father stated, taking a cracker. My mother nodded, taking a sushi roll and popping it in her mouth, then smiling. “You read my mind. I’m to lazy to cook tonight. Sound good Miyu?” She asked, already knowing I’d agree, since we rarely cooked anything huge on Fridays, so she dug out a phone book. I smiled. “Sounds good to me. I’m a little tired since it is Friday. And I go on break today! No school for two weeks!” I somewhat celebrated. “We don’t have work for the next couple days. Right hun?” My mother stated, not looking up from the yellow pages in front of her. My father nodded. “Yup. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off. Then we have a business trip to go to Tuesday night.” I smiled, then a light bulb went off. “Maybe on one of your days off I can invite my friends over so you can meet them all!” I exclaimed excitedly. “Hmmm..” My father pondered. “Sounds like a plan.” My mother smiled, while picking up the phone. My father nodded. “How about tomorrow? Saturday is always a good day to have fun.” I nodded, making my opinion obvious. I looked at the clock that read 5:45. I stood up and smiled.  “I should get dressed. I’m going to go over and invite them over for tomorrow. Is that ok?” “Yes. Just hurry back, or we’ll eat your take out.” My mother joked after temporarily taking the phone away from her ear and covering the mouth piece. “Gotcha.” I ran up the stairs and changed quickly, throwing something on that was girly, knowing my father wouldn’t let me leave otherwise.

As soon as I made it to the door, my father added, “Also, make sure they know that they’re welcome to spend the night.”  I nodded. “Thank you daddy! Be back in a bit!” I closed the door after me, and had one of our drivers take me. You’re probably wondering why I’m going out of my way to see them when I could just call them. Its my family’s custom to be humble to those we care about. It’s more personal when you go to their house. It shows that you care.

I headed to Haruhi’s house first. An oddly familiar person answered the door. “Ranka san?” “Yuki san?! Is that you?! My my my my my, have you grown!” He hugged me, inviting me inside. We chatted for a bit until Haruhi overheard the commotion and came to the living room to investigate. “Oh, hey Yuki-chan, what are you doing here this late?” I smiled. “I came over to invite you over to my house tomorrow. I’m also going to go invite the host club. My parents have a couple of days off and They want to meet every one. You in?” She smiled, then sighed. “I probably shouldn’t. But It sounds like fun.” “Did you want to come to Ranka-chan?” He smiled. “I wish I could, but I work a double shift.” “That’s too bad. Maybe next time. Oh, and Haruhi, my parents want me to make sure you know that you’re welcome to stay the night if you want.” She smiled. “Can I dad?” “Hmmm. I don’t see why not. If it wasn’t Yuki-chan asking, I’d probably say no.” I smiled. “Alright, do you want me to pick you up tomorrow?” She shook her head no. “No that’s alright. I have some things to do tomorrow, so I’ll call you before I leave ok?” I nodded. “Okie dokie! Well, have a good night you two, I have to go invite the others.” “Bye.” They both happily said in unison as I made my way back to my limo.
