Mates (TAEHYUNG FF)

Chapter 5

[Y/N POV]

I was going to go sleep but I wasn't sleepy yet so I decided to watch a movie so that I would get sleepy. I switched on the TV and decided to watch "Minions" which is an amazing movie unlike what that alien chose. A smile made it's way up to my face the second I thought of him. I just met him today but just thinking of him gave me butterflies. I quickly cleared my throat and cupped my cheeks which were now pink. I was going to play the movie when I heard an extremely loud sound, and it sounded like a gunshot. I froze and I felt fear take over me, I slowly made my way outside and saw the guard's dead body and someone standing over it with a gun in their hand. I put a hand over my mouth and stifled a sob. With shaking hands, I dialled 112 and they immediately picked up. I tried to explain what happened without breaking down, they told me that they would be there and that I had to calm down and stay with them on the line. I was hiding behind the couch when I heard another gunshot, the loud sound making the phone slip out of my hand, and I couldn't even pick it up because of how the loud sound started triggering memories I hated thinking about. My head started to fill with the sounds from that day, sirens, people yelling, the police talking indistinctly, the sound of the heart rate monitors. 

Y/N: EOMMA! APPA! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

Y/N: S-stop it...

I put my hands over my ears in an attempt to stop myself from hearing the things that brought me pain.

Y/N: J-jimin please wake up, don't leave me too...

Tears were streaming down my face and it was getting hard to breathe. My head was paining and I felt like I was about to pass out when I heard the sound of the door breaking down. I hugged my knees and pulled it closer to my chest, I was rocking back and forth telling myself everything was going to be alright.

[TAE POV]

I was running towards her house, while also thanking god for making me a werewolf because of which I could run really fast. I was getting really close to her house when I heard the sound of a gunshot, my eyes widened and I ran faster than I had ever ran in my life. When I made it to her house I saw her guard dead and some dude standing over the body with a gun in his hand, he was heading to the main door but I didn't give him the chance, I kicked him from the back catching him off guard, his finger that was on the trigger moved, causing him to lose another bullet. Taking the chance I had, I quickly punched him, while forgetting the fact that I was a werewolf. The punch knocked him out so I quickly found some ropes in the yard and tied him up.

"Y/N, GO LOOK FOR Y/N!"

My wolf brought me back to my senses with it's loud ass voice. I quickly ran to her front door and kicked it down without thinking twice. I went to the living room expecting to find her there, and I was right. She was sitting under a window, her back pressed against the wall, she was hugging her knees and rocking back and forth, my heart clenched seeing her in that state and I blamed myself for not reaching earlier. I quickly approached her and the second I touched her she flinched really badly.

TAE: Hey, don't worry, it's just me, don't worry, he won't hurt you---

I got cut off when she suddenly wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me, I was a little taken back but I hugged her back and wrapped my arms around her and completely engulfed her tiny figure. She burst out crying making me get really worried, I had like zero experience when it came to comforting people so I just tried my best. I caressed her hair and kept whispering soothing words to her till the police arrived. A few policemen ran into the house, probably seeing the broken door which I had kicked down. Now how on earth am I going to explain that. A policeman suddenly appeared next to me and Y/N with a gun in his hands. I quickly hugged Y/N again so she wouldn't see it.
