Mates (TAEHYUNG FF)

Chapter 1

[TAE POV]

I woke up, hearing the sound of my father screaming at me to get my ass up.

Mr. Kim: KIM TAEHYUNG! WAKE UP!

TAE: COMING DAD!

I slowly got up, letting out a groan when I realised that today I had a bunch of training---wait a minute. Today...it's my birthday, which means, I'm going to finally find my mate. I ran to the kitchen in full speed nearly crashing into my mother.

Mrs. Kim: Taehyung---

TAE: I'M GOING TO FIND MY MATE TODAY!

Mrs. Kim: Yes we know, but first go freshen up, then you can continue screaming in my ears. 

TAE: Hehe, sorry mom.

I quickly got ready and ran outside my house straight to my favourite place in the woods. The lake, some people like to call it the lake of the mates as it's the place where young wolves find their mates. 

JM: TAE!

I looked to my side and saw my best friend Jimin with his 11 month old son Sunghoon. I quickly ran to them and lifted Sunghoon up and gave him a kiss on the cheek. He giggled and tried to grab my hair. I lifted him up really high and he screamed a little. 

JM: Yah! Yah! Careful, he's my son.

Tae: Sorry about that.

JM: It's fine, I know the reason for your excitement today.

I grinned at him.

Tae: You really don't know how excited I am.

JM: Oh, trust me, I know.

I laughed and was about to ask him something when I heard an extremely annoying voice calling my name. Soeun. She was one of the wolves in our pack, who still doesn't have a mate, and she's been clinging onto me, waiting for this day.

TAE: What do you want?

She pouted, and tried talking in a cute voice, nearly making me puke.

SN: Why are you so mean to me, Oppa?

I physically cringed, and just turned to Jimin's side completely ignoring her.

TAE: Can we please leave this place?

I whisper yelled at Jimin who smirked at me.

TAE: Jimin, please...

I pleaded him. He rolled his eyes and sighed.

JM: Fine. Let's go over to my house. 

TAE: Thank you.

We immediately headed to his house and as we entered I saw his mate, Park Chaeyoung.

TAE: Hey Noona!

CH: Hey Taehyung, Happy Birthday!

Noona came and took Sunghoon from me and headed to the kitchen.

JM: I still don't get it, I'm the same age as her but I don't hear you calling me Hyung.

TAE: Well, that's because she was here before you were.

He rolled his eyes.

Jimin was a mundane, a normal human who was chosen as the mate of Chaeyoung Noona. We were all very surprised when we found out because it's very rare when a werewolf has a human as a mate. In some packs, it's very rare and in most packs it's not even there.

JM: It's been a whole year Tae, you need to start showing me some respect now.

TAE: We'll see about that, don't forget that I'm the future alpha of this pack.
