Chapter 16

[Y/N POV]

I woke up, cold sweat covering my forehead. I looked to my left to see that Tae wasn't there. I ran out the room as fast as I could. 

Y/N: TAE! TAE! TAE WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!

I saw him coming out of the kitchen, with a worried look on his face.

TAE: WHAT HAPPENED--

I immediately ran over to him, hugging him tightly, he wrapped his arms around my waist and placed his chin on my shoulder.

TAE: Hey...you alright?

I shook my head making him sigh. He lifted me off the ground and walked over to the couch and sat down, with me on his lap. He put his finger under my chin and lifted it up.

TAE: You wanna tell me what happened?

Y/N: Bad dream...very very bad dream.

He chuckled and patted my head.

TAE: What? Did Annabelle come to ask for her rent or something?

He expected me to laugh, but I couldn't shake the image of Jaesung holding a knife close to my neck, away from my mind.

Y/N: J-jaesung...

He stiffened when I said that and I saw how is gaze darkened.

TAE: What about him?

Y/N: He was...he was going to kill me, he said that he would t-take me to my p-parents--

I stifled a sob, I was terrified, Tae immediately wrapped his arms around me and hugged me, which calmed me down.

TAE: Hey, it's just a dream--

I immediately looked up and shook my head, I tried to talk but all that came out were whispers.

Y/N: I-I know, but it just...it felt s-so real...

Y/N: A-and aren't you the one that told me that these dreams are like foreshadows into the future or something--

TAE: Not all of them, just...some of them.

I let out a sigh and buried my face in his chest, letting my tears soak his cardigan. He began patting my head, and placing soft kisses on my temple.

TAE: Let's get you out of here.

Y/N: W-what?

TAE: Remember how I said we could go meet the rest of the pack today?

I nodded slowly and he suddenly stood up with me in his hands, making me hold onto his neck for dear life. 

Y/N: Yah, put me down, I can walk.

He just continued to walk towards the kitchen and finally put me down.

TAE: Cook for me, please.

He said cupping his cheeks and showing me his puppy eyes.

Y/N: You do know you don't have to do that, right?

TAE: Formalities.

I just rolled my eyes and started to cook something for him. He stood behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist and snuggled his face in the crook of my neck.

TAE: Don't worry about what you saw earlier, okay? It's normal to have nightmares like that, and not all of them come true, so don't worry. Just get it out of your head.

I nodded and started squirming, trying to get out of his grip.

Y/N: Your hair...it tickles.

I said, giggling, while he just chuckled and smirked evilly.
