Chapter 21

[TAE POV]

Our beautiful homeland was covered in snow, making it look like a wonderland. But it didn't feel like a wonderland, it felt like a battlefield, and at this moment it was.

I looked to my right hoping to see my Luna standing beside me ready to fight, but to my dismay she wasn't. Instead, she was standing on the other side, with the enemy, with an emotion I couldn't quite decipher. 

Before I could process what was happening, she raised her arm and threw a knife right at me.

I woke up with a loud gasp, beads of sweat covering my forehead. I sat straight up and looked to my right to see that Y/N wasn't there beside me. The sound of the door opening caught my attention and I looked towards the noise to see Y/N slowly walking in. 

She saw my state and her eyes widened, she immediately ran towards me, and sat next to me taking my face in her hands. I immediately swatted her hands away and glared at her.

Y/N: Hey, what's wrong? Are you okay--

TAE: Traitor.

[Y/N POV]

TAE: Traitor.

He whispered, making my eyes widen. I froze, not knowing what to say because he looked like he was going to murder me right there. I looked towards the nightstand to grab some water for him when he said something.

TAE: What are you hiding from me?

My head shot up and I looked at him, the thought of him finding that note crossing my mind, my chain of thoughts were interrupted as soon as Tae started blabbering something, while holding his head.

TAE: N-no, my Y/N would never do something like that...

My eyes softened and a light chuckle left my lips. I ran my fingers through his hair, calming him down.

Y/N: Tae...

TAE: Hmm?

Y/N: Did you have a bad dream?

He slowly looked at me with teary eyes and nodded. Shit--

TAE: You'll never leave me right?

I sat up properly and pushed his head into my chest, slowly swaying his body from the left to the right.

Y/N: I'll never leave you, I promise.

I said, placing a long kiss on his forehead, he suddenly detached himself from me and looked at me suspiciously.

TAE: But you killed me.

Y/N: ...heh?

TAE: You threw the knife right at my face--

Y/N: Babe, that was a dream--Okay you know what, you need to get some sleep.

I pushed him back down onto the bed using a little force and pulled the duvet over his body and placed a soft kiss on his forehead. I shook myself a little because of the sudden mood swings his sleepy ass had, and looked at the clock letting out a sigh.

5:38 AM

I was going to go back to sleep but changed my mind and headed out of the room to continue the very productive activity I was doing before Tae had his moment.

Staring at that stupid note.

It was driving me absolutely insane and I didn't know what I was supposed to do.

I could either agree to meet him at the party and jump into what was most likely a trap or I could pretend like I never saw the note and therefore, not meet him.
