Chapter 20

[TAE POV]

We were heading towards Jackson Hyung's house, I had my arm wrapped around Y/N's waist, her head resting on my shoulder. She turned to look at me, making me stop in my tracks.

Y/N: I have a very bad feeling about this.

TAE: What do you mean?

Y/N: Well, Jackson just calls us telling us to come to his house because of an emergency but he won't tell us what it is.

TAE: He probably just needs help with something.

Y/N: It didn't sound like that, it sounded quite important.

TAE: Don't worry about it, it's going to be fine.

Y/N: See the thing is, I had a conversation with Dad the other day--

TAE: My dad?

Y/N: No no my dad.

TAE: Huh?

Y/N: Yes you idiot your dad--

She let out a sigh, while I pressed my lips together in embarrassment. She let out a light chuckle and continued speaking.

Y/N: As I was saying, while I was talking to dad, he mentioned this conversation he had with Jaesung a while back.

I let out an irritated sigh the second I heard his name and motioned for her to continue speaking.

Y/N: It wasn't anything that serious, dad just answered a few of his questions about my mother and me. But dad said after their conversation, rather than saying something "Jaesung-like", he just got up and left.

TAE: You don't think he just wanted to act decent for once?

Y/N: Well, that thought did cross my mind, yes. But this was an almost perfect situation for him to say something or just bluff about how much danger we're all going to be in or something.

TAE: And you think this has something to do with what Jackson Hyung called us in for?

She nodded.

Y/N: It's just a stupid hunch, what Jackson called us in for could be something different, I just told you since it slipped my mind the other day.

I nodded and she walked up to the door, going to ring the bell when I saw something that made my eyes widen.

[Y/N POV]

I was going to ring the doorbell when I felt someone hold my wrist and pull me back, I saw Tae looking at me with a flustered face.

Y/N: What's wrong?

He suddenly started parting my hair with extreme focus, I grabbed his arm and pushed it away.

Y/N: Tae, what on earth are you doing?

TAE: Um, there's a very evident...uh remain of what happened last night...on your neck.

He mumbled the last part, but I immediately understood what he meant and my face became crimson red.

TAE: H-here, lemme just fix it.

This time, I didn't stop him, since he could see what was showing and what wasn't.

TAE: There, all done, I just felt like if Jimin saw it, he'd murder me and we'd all forget about what Jackson Hyung called us in for.

Y/N: Good, good that was smart.

I cleared my throat and turned towards the door.

Y/N: Sh-should we head back?

TAE: Y/N, wait.
