Chapter 9

[TAE POV]

TAE: I'm a werewolf.

I saw how her eyes slowly widened, I quickly turned my eyes back into normal and tried to start talking but no words came out when I saw Y/N pull her hands away from me and fear filling her eyes.  

TAE: Y-Y/N--

She stood up and started stuttering and mumbling something.

Y/N: That explains it, y-your eyes became blue when I first saw it, but...h-how?

The last part coming out as a whisper. She buried her face in her hands, mumbling some incoherent words, I felt awful seeing that I was the one causing her to spiral. I got up and put my hand on her shoulder and she flinched really badly which made my eyes soften.

TAE: Hey...

Y/N: Why me?

TAE: W-what?

Y/N: Why am I your target? What do you want from me?

She said, trying to sound confident but I knew she was scared, even though she wasn't a werewolf, I could still feel all her emotions and right now she was radiating fear. I knew she might get even more scared but I couldn't control myself, I wrapped my arms around her petite figure and engulfed her completely. I felt her relaxing slightly and I smiled.

Y/N: I'm supposed to be scared of you, but why do you make me feel so safe?

I caressed her back and swayed our bodies slightly. I pulled back and stared at her with a small smile.

TAE: You don't have to be scared of me Y/N. I would never hurt you.

She smiled but then it faltered a little.

Y/N: You still haven't answered my previous question, why me out of all these people? 

TAE: Well, you see...ok where do I start? 

So, I started explaining to her about the different ranks and packs and how the human world is connected to our world and then I got to the part about the dream, I told her how I saw a girl and how I saw her school, so I had to come to the human world, leaving out the part that she's my mate.

TAE: ...and then you bumped into me--

Y/N: Your eyes turned blue then, right? Why did that happen? You didn't tell me anything about blue eyed werewolves--

TAE: W-wait wait...

I took a deep breath and looked at her, feeling a little nervous. 

TAE: Ok, you remember how I told you that sometimes werewolves can have mates outside their own world?

Y/N: Yeah, mundanes, right? 

I nodded and stared at her with an expectant look, hoping that her smart ass would figure it out on her own.

Y/N: What does that have to do with you---oh...O-oh, y-you have a mundane mate, and it's m-me, isn't it?

I slowly nodded.

Y/N: Wow, okay umm I need some time to uhh, oh my god, I--

She stood up and started hyperventilating. I immediately tried to calm her down.

Y/N: This explains everything.

TAE: What do you mean?

She sat down on the bed and looked at me.

Y/N: Since the second I saw you, I felt so weird like there was some sort of cosmic connection, I trusted you so easily and I felt so safe around you, and I would always get nervous and shy the moment you came a little close---
