As soon as I entered my Home Econs class, everyone began snickering at my costume but Miss Maddox didn't notice because she was engrossed in her magazine like always.
My eyes met Noah's and he raised his brows at me. I gave him a lopsided grin and walked towards Miss Mad. She was leaning her cheek on her palm with her arm on the desk.
"Hello, Miss Maddox." I greeted her sweetly.
"What can I do for you, Miss Wolf?" She asked in a monotone without taking her eyes off the magazine.
"I wanted to ask that since we don't have any practicals this week. Noah and I are free from 'detention' right?"
"Yes, Miss Wolf." She sighed and deliberately looked up at me. "You're free this we-" Her hand slipped making her head jerk a little and she gaped at me.
She observed my dress from head to toe with her jaw dropped. Satisfied with her reaction, I gave her a mischievous grin and bobbed my head.
"Thank you, Miss Maddox. I just wanted to confirm."
She opened and closed her mouth like a fish, not being able to say anything. I whirled on my heel and bit my lip to stop my laugh as I walked towards my seat.
"You're evil, you know that." Noah gave me a once-over in amusement.
"What?" I shrugged and glanced at Miss Mad, who was still gawking at me. "It's teacher day and you're supposed to dress like a teacher."
"So you dressed as... Miss Maddox."
"Yup." I gave him a toothy grin as I smoothed my blonde wig. "What do you think of my hair?"
I wore the same brown gown I had seen Miss Maddox wearing a lot of times. I also got the same wired glasses she had. And to make it more realistic, I got a blonde wig that I tied in a bun.
"You're crazy." He chuckled, shaking his head.
"Tell me, Noah." I leaned towards him and batted my eyes. "Do you like me more as a blonde?"
"No." He laughed at me. "I prefer you as a brunette."
"Good to know." I beamed and settled in my seat, observing Noah. "Who are you supposed to be?"
He wore a plain black jacket with a white shirt and light blue jeans.
"No one." He shrugged.
"Oh, I didn't know we had a teacher named 'No one'." I scoffed then narrowed my eyes at him. "Why aren't you dressed up, Noah?"
"Because I think it's a waste of time." He said nonchalantly.
"No, it's not!" I gasped, putting a hand on my chest. "It's fun and don't tell me you didn't dress yesterday either."
I was really curious to know what Netflix character he went with.
"I didn't." He smirked, and I glared at him.
"You're going to dress tomorrow. Understood." I huffed with crossed arms.
"That will not happen." He gave me his charming smile, looking amused.
"You will." I sternly looked at him and blackmailed him. "Or else I won't talk to you... Ever again."
He raised his brows at me and I whirled my head towards the front. Miss Maddox finally got out of her shock and began the class.
I will not talk to him, not until he says yes.
* * * * *
Miss Mad kept giving me side glances during the class and in return, I gave her my angelic innocent smile. As for Noah, he tried to talk to me but I kept ignoring him until he finally give in.
