∾𝒮an didn't know when he ended up separated from Yeosang, but it wasn't exactly surprising, considering the total chaos that had erupted at the docks.
Flashing his eyes in the dark, he searched for familiar faces, Seonghwa and Jongho in particular. However hairs on the back of his neck standing on end, he recognised no one...
Or at least, until he stepped foot into the fishing shed on the far side of the docks...
And he caught a whiff of a familiar scent...
'Wooyoung,' he whispered under his breath.
In the corner was a dark shadow of a person collapsed on the floor, and for a terrifying moment, he thought he was dead...
Flitting across the room, he knelt down beside him, and relief flooded him the instant he heard his shallow breath against the floorboards.
'Wooyoung, you have to leave,' he urged, patting his cheek to wake him up...
However it seemed the creature was barely able to even sit up by himself, let alone walk.
Glancing around the room and hearing screams outside, for a moment, his Alpha flashed through his mind...
But as Wooyoung moaned softly in unrest, his stomach tugged... He couldn't leave him behind. That was to sentence him to death...
Making the split decision, he put his arm around Wooyoung's waist and helped him up, but he wasn't particularly surprised when, despite putting his feet on the ground, he took none of his own weight.
Groaning as though he felt sick, Wooyoung's hooded eyes began to blink open hazily as his head swayed on his shoulders. However when those irises glanced up into his, they shocked him, so much so that he almost dropped him from the whiplash...
They were blue.
'Yeosang-ah...? Wh-where's...?'
Wooyoung's voice was so immensely smooth that he could only be high, but on what, he didn't know... He'd never seen an Elf so hazy before... Not even Yeosang...
However hearing a sudden bang from somewhere unnervingly close, he forced himself to revisit his decision... Leave Wooyoung behind - a creature of whom was apparently an Elf, or help move him to safety...
Glancing between the door and the creature in his arms with unnerving blue irises gazing up at him...
'Fuck,' he spat.
Pulling Wooyoung's body against his own, he dragged the creature towards the exit, determined to get him out of the building. He wouldn't be able to live with knowing he had killed him by leaving him behind. Another bang sounded from somewhere inside, followed by screams and animalistic growls, however he didn't look back to see what had happened.
