„If you are question is if I killed the Hawkins girl? The answer is yes"

I couldn't breath anymore.
Couldn't sit anymore.
I was not strong enough to scream.
All I could was falling on the ground.
I didn't want to listen to his words anymore but they were like toxins that got deeper and deeper under your skin.

„She saw me with those dumb roses and she knew too much. She was a liability. I knew there was not much time left before she would tell my daughter or the husband of my daughter."
I crumpled together on the floor like a child.
Just stared at the white perfect ceiling.
Perfect, this word was darker than every nightmare.
Tears were on the edges of my eyes.

„Tanner Briggs always was a clever man" I didn't know what that was supposed to mean, had Tanner something to do with this? But my father continued to speak: „ And after the Hawkins Girl was dead Veronica turned into a pathetic lunatic. I just knew that her grief would turn into anger . We all know that women only uses her emotions to solve a crime. I knew should would soon start to understand what has happened to Hawkins and she definitely would try to dig on her own. Briggs was always her right hand"
I was pathetic?
My lungs burned but I still couldn't breath.
I was to shocked for crying.
„ The next thing I did was to separate Tanner and Veronica. They divorced because I took Tanner on my side. It was the only way of stopping my daughter to find out the truth... it wasn't easy to convince him that she gone mentally insane but I did it."
I didn't hear his last words.
I screamed.
Tears ran down my cheeks.
Tanner wrapped his arms around me.
My whole life was a lie.
