Chapter 4

Later in the week AJ was once again rushing to get ready but this time it wasn't for school. Today would be the first day that she would visit Cobra Kai and she had no idea what to expect.

AJ eventually decided on loose fitting mom jeans and a white sweater over a green sports bra. She didn't plan to fight or do any karate just observe and talk with the Sensei.

That was another thing she was worried about. From looking at the website that one time and seeing Johnny's name that's who she hoped she would meet. But all the times she talked with Hawk and the other Cobras there was no mention of a Sensei Lawrence.

Either way she was excited to get back into karate after not practicing in a while. AJ grabbed her converse putting them on as she ran downstairs.

Her mom was at work and her dad was out with a few people from work. AJ sat down on the couch that they had just set up while she waited for Hawk to text her.

After a half an hour he finally texted her to come over to his house so they can leave.

AJ stood up making sure she had her keys and her phone before heading out the garage over to Hawks.

"Hey Mohawk," She greeted him with a smile.

"Hey," He said as he held out a helmet to her.

AJ glanced down at it and then up at him and then down to his motorcycle.

"Scared princess?" Hawk asked her teasingly as he sat down on the bike putting his own helmet on.

AJ scoffed "You wish," she sat down behind him and wrapped her arms around him. "Also I would refrain from calling me princess."

"Why? Is it because you like me calling you Baby more?" Hawk asked her with a cocky grin.

"Baby is better but I don't know if it's my favorite so keep trying." AJ teased not wanting to loose the battle.

Hawk chuckled "Is this your way of getting me to call you cute names?"

AJ sighed "Just drive Mowhawk,"

Hawk smirked a bit as he started the bike. He felt her grip on him tighten which made him blush a bit but she couldn't tell due to the helmet.

Hawk drove off towards the dojo with AJ basically clinging to him. He pulled in front of Cobra Kai and got off taking his helmet off.

AJ stayed on the bike and took her helmet off glaring up at him.

"What?" He asked her noticing her glare.

"You drive like a maniac!" She snapped at him as she fixed her hair.

"We were fine" he assured her laughing a bit as he helped her off the motorcycle.

"I'm pretty sure I almost passed out so I wouldn't define that as fine!" AJ told him.

"Okay okay," Hawk laughed, "I'll drive safer next time your majesty"

AJ rolled her eyes at him before looking up at the Cobra Kai sign.

"AJ?" Hawk asked her from the entrance, "Are you coming?"

"I'll be there in a second Mohawk!" She called back to him as she looked down from the sign.

Hawk nodded as he walked into the dojo to go get changed.

AJ bit her lip thinking about everything. She pulled her phone out and sent a text to her aunt.
