Chapter 27

AJ stepped into the house with the rest of Eagle Fang as the Miyagi-Do members groaned.

"Super fun party!" AJ muttered sarcastically as Miguel nudged her.

The two dojo's lined up in front of each other glaring at the other. AJ didn't bother glaring instead she turned to try and leave. Miguel saw and grabbed her pulling her back into the house.

"Oh hell no! You've gotta be kidding me!" Chris exclaimed standing in front of Mitch.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Mitch stared at them "This isn't a keg party"

AJ looked up at Miguel who avoided her gaze.

"I bought this hat for nothing?" Mitch took his hat off.

"Wait, you bought that hat?" AJ asked looking down the line at him "I thought your mom made you wear it."

Mitch gave her a look and threw the hat at her. AJ laughed softly and dodged it.

"Wait, you parent trapped us?" Demetri asked looking down at Sam "Why?"

"Look, I know we haven't always gotten along, but Cobra Kai is the bigger threat now!" Sam explained, "To all of us."

Demetri and AJ shared an uncomfortable look as they listened to her words.

"We think we'd stand a better chance against them if we joined forces." Miguel added on, "Two dojo's are stronger than one."

"Well this is ridiculous." AJ mumbled as she tried to leave again only to get pushed back in.

"I know we've all done shitty things to each other." Miguel said as he kept AJ in place.

Chris looked between AJ and Mitch "Like breaking Demetri's arm?"

"Hey! We've all had the urge!" AJ retorted.

Miguel rolled his eyes and pinched her arm.

AJ huffed softly "Kidding!" She muttered.

"You started the fight!" Mitch glared at Chris.

"After you almost got me fired!" Chris told him angrily.

Bert stepped up to Nathaniel "God, I hate your stupid face so much!"

"If you died, I wouldn't even attend your funeral." Nathaniel said.

"Oh?" AJ stared down at the two smaller boys in shock.

Miguel looked over to Sam "This isn't gonna work."

"It has to." She said looking up at him before turning to everyone else, "We have one last chance to make things right. Alone, we're nothing. But if we work together we have a shot. If we can't get over the past, the fighting will never end. We have to confront our enemies. This rivalry as to stop, one way or another."

"Great speech!" AJ told Sam sarcastically as she stepped more into the house.

"What's with her?" Demetri asked as he watched the girl walk more into the house.

Miguel sighed "Cobra Kai carved the word traitor into her car."

"See!" Sam spoke up "They're going after everyone!"

The rest of the group sighed as they followed Sam and AJ to the living room.

AJ was seated on the floor next to Demetri's legs.

"Have you really had the urge to break my arm?" He asked her.

AJ nodded "Don't act like you haven't had the urge to punch me in the face."
