Driving Practice

Y/N POV

After my trip to the mall I head out with the other students to the Forest of Forever Fall. I collect my jar of red sap and decide to see my bro Jaune. I teleport to his location just in time to see him stand up to Cardin and pelt him with red sap. Cardin gets ready to clobber Jaune when I hunker down and turn into my snake form. I slither to Cardin and wrap around his body.

Cardin: "What the hell?!"

Y/N: "Leave the boy alone or get eaten."

Cardin: "No!"

I squeeze al little and hear his shoulder pop.

Cardin: "Ahhh!"

Y/N: "Leave Jaune alone or die."

Cardin: "Ok! Ok!"

I let him go and he takes off running with his teammates following him. I return to normal and look to see Jaune looking shocked.

Jaune: "Why did you do that?"

Y/N: "Because you're my bro, and I look after my bros."

We leave the Forest and head back into Beacon where I take a nap under a tree. I am awoken by the sound of footsteps approaching me.

Ruby: "Hey Y/N."

Y/N: *opens eyes* "Hey kid. Did you need something?"

Ruby: "I was just wondering if you could take me into Vale real quick."

Y/N: "Sure, just let me take care of something."

I jump to my feet and pick up a medium sized pebble.

Y/N: "Ruby, can you tell me what time it is and where the girls locker room is. Try to be as exact as possible."

Ruby: "It's noon." *points* "And the locker room is about a mile that way."

Y/N: "Thanks. You might want to cover your ears."

She does so when I stick the pebble on my middle finger and flick it. It takes off like a lighting bolt and leaves behind a sonic boom while also letting a high pitched whistle.

Y/N: "Done, now let's get going."

I open a portal and she walks through first. I get ready to jump through when I smile hearing the pebble hit its target.

*meanwhile 3rd POV*

Russel: "Are you sure we should be doing this Cardin?"

Cardin: "The girls should be arriving in the locker room right about now. We have a golden opportunity to see some naked women and I'm not wasting it."

Cardin climbs the tree and stands on the branch right as the girls walk in. He pulls out his scroll and gets ready to record when a whistling sound is heard. Cardin looks to be met with a pebble to the face; he loses his footing and falls out of the tree. He hits the ground on his neck and is knocked out cold.

Y/N POV

I exit the portal and arrive in Vale.

Y/N: "Alright, where is it you wanted to go?"

Ruby: "A weapons store at the other end of town."

Y/N: "Ok, and since it's such a lovely day, why don't we enjoy it with a nice drive?"

I use some of my magic and summon a car to us. I then summon the keys to me and hand them to Ruby.

Y/N: "And you're going to drive."

Ruby: "I don't know."

Y/N: "What's wrong, nervous?"

Ruby: "No one ever taught me to drive."
