"So, first things first, we need to have a contract so we're on the same page about the rules," I say, fumbling with my quill and parchment. Cedric and I were in the courtyard after his quidditch practice, I sat at the table while he wandered around it.

"You got rules?" Cedric questions. "Wow, you really know how to zap the fun out of a situation." This was supposed to be fun?

"Well it's important to know where you stand on certain issues," I noted.

"Okay, like what?" Cedric sighs.

"Well, for example, I don't want you to kiss me anymore."

"What? Are you crazy? Who's gonna believe we're in a relationship if I'm not allowed to kiss you?" Cedric looks at me like I've gone insane.

"You may be the Leo Dicaprio of this kind of stuff but I've never had a boyfriend before," I argue as I fiddle with my favorite scrunchie.

"You have the references of an 80 year old woman," Wow. What a gentleman. "What does that matter?"

"It matters because I don't want all my firsts to be fake," I explain. "If I'm gonna be making out with someone, I'm gonna do it for real."

"But you kissed me first," Cedric argued. I sighed, he was right.

"This is non-negotiable," I say.

"Fine. But we need to figure something out because people are gonna get suspicious if I'm not allowed to touch you," Cedric points out.

"Okay, okay, you have a point." I ponder for a moment until I remember something from a muggle movie I watched over the summer. "How about this, you can put your hand in my robe pocket."

"Hand in your robe pocket? What the bloody hell is that?"

"Sixteen Candles? It's the opening image," Cedric gives me a confused look. "It's a couples thing," I explained.

"Yeah, maybe in the '60s" Cedric scoffs.

"Sixteen Candles was in the 80s, John Hughes? It came out, like 20 years ago." Cedric simply blinks at me. "Nothing?" Cedric shakes his head. "Okay... Two more rules," I start as a scribble on my parchment. "You have to watch Sixteen Candles with me because it's a classic," Cedric groans, but I continue. "And we can never tell anyone this relationship was fake, because it would be too humiliating for the both of us."

"Duh," Cedric sits in front of me and rests his hands on the table. "First rule of Fight Club."

"What?" I ask, cocking my head to the side.

"Are you serious? You've never seen Fight Club?" Cedric gasped while I shook my head. Is that a muggle movie? I never expected Cedric to watch muggle movies. "Merlin! Okay, write it down. Double feature. After we watch that Candles movie, we are watching Fight Club."

I scribble on my parchment furiously. "Fight Club... Sixteen Candles... No snitching. Anything else?" I ask looking back up at him.

"I could... I could write you notes, every day," Cedric suggests, softly. Wait, that's kinda cute of him to do that.

"You'd do that?"

""Sure. Tiff was always on me to write her them, I never did." That makes more sense. "So if I start sending them to you, she'll be pissed." Cedric replies looking off to the side.

"How romantic," I reply with slight sarcasm.

"Also, you have to come with me to my Quidditch matches and parties."
