Why was he here right in front of me?
I must be dreaming.
He looks so real though..
I break the eye contact and look back at the table with my coffee sitting there.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom" says Chaeryeong and gets up and leaves.
"Ryujin..."
The soft voice makes me shiver.
I slowly turn my head back to where the boy stands.
"It's been awhile" I say with a slight fake smile.
He smiles and walks over to the chair across from me.
We were just sitting there until Beomgyu got called to get his coffee. I sighed hoping that he wouldn't come back, but he did. He started sipping on his drink. He was looking around the café.
I decided to break the silence.
"How have you been?"
-"so, so"
I nod my head and continue sipping on my coffee.
"What about you?"
.."Same- so, so"
He nods.
Dang it Chaeryeong, how long will you take in there!?
Finally Chaeryeong comes back and I quickly grab my coat and her coffee and run to the door. Beomgyu gets up and stops me.
"Stop avoiding me"
I don't look at him and try to make my way pass him through the door.
"I haven't seen you in forever, you never call or text me and all you want to do is leave!?"
I took a deep breath.
"Yes, I might not contact you but it's for a reason. I missed you so much to the point where I feel like whenever I thought about you I was slowly killing myself. I just want to forget about you, you mean nothing to me anymore." I reply in a frustrated tone. I grabbed Chaeryeong's hand and marched out of the door.
"Was that really necessary?" she asks me
"Yes"
-"Are you sure that you won't have any regrets in the future?"
.."I'm positive"
It was true, I had no regrets in fact I felt like I could do anything! The only stress I had on me was him always on my mind. I felt relived that I could finally end our relationship and work hard at my dreams.
