If Only

Chapter 9

It is now December 2019 and both groups have debuted. Everyone knows about Ryujin and Beomgyu's "friendship" according to some interviews when they talked about each other. Today they finally attended the award show. TXT are going to perform their new "9 and Three Quarters" (Run Away) and ITZY is going to preform their new song "ICY". Both are exited to see each other again. They haven't seen each other sense the day before Halloween. They have been on some private dates and other fun activities privately. Today would be the first time they will be on camera together. It was first TXT performance. Ryujin listened and watched closely. Once she saw Beomgyu, she immediately started clapping happily. The performance was already over and it was now ITZY's turn. Beomgyu also was really excited to see Ryujin perform. "She is doing it so perfectly" Beomgyu mumbled. Taehyun heard him and chuckled to himself.
It was first up the rookie of the year award. "The rookie of the year is...." TXT, ITZY, and EVERGLOW members were all exited and nervous. "TXT!".
TXT got up and Ryujin could notice that 3 of them were crying...including Beomgyu. Ryujin stood up and clapped her hands and shouting as loud as she could, wanting Beomgyu to hear her-what he did. He saw Ryujin clapping and standing up while her members were just giggling at her. He made a heart shape with his hands. Ryujin signaled him to stop crying, and Beomgyu wiped his tears and smiled as he held the award and his members spoke truthfully about how thankful they are. Some other awards were passed to, TXT won some more and so did ITZY. The show was finally over and both of the groups were back stage getting ready to go back to the dorms until their next step. Ryujin was finished and was on her phone waiting for her members. She knows that they always take forever to get ready so she decides to walk around in the hallway until she saw the door that said
"TOMORROW X TOGETHER"
She takes a deep breath and knocks on the door. The door opens with a Man with grey hair. "Ryujin!" He crashed her in the biggest hug ever. It was Beomgyu.

"Hey you did amazing today!" I say. "I'm so proud of you". We both say in unison. "I hate to ruin the moment but we kinda have to leave" Soobin says. "Oh-Maybe we can talk another time" says Beomgyu finally stepping away still having his arm around me facing towards Soobin. "Hey ᵍᵘʸˢ ᵍᵉᵗ ᵇᵃᶜᵏ ʰᵉʳᵉ!" We could hear a voice that sounded familiar. We opened the door and saw TXT, ITZY and Twice all playing a game. My legs felt sort of weak so I decided not to participate. Instead we went back out to the seating in front of the stage and watched and laughed. I had such a good time I would beg for it to never end!

Big Hit entertainment and JYP entertainment were the only entertainment companies that were still here. Got7, Twice, Stray Kids, ITZY, TXT, and BTS were the only groups still there. They were running around, dancing, taking photos, just talking. It was the most fun day in my life. TXT and ITZY had a fan sign before and decided to put on some of their funny hats and accessories while doing karaoke.

Then we were all talking about our old memories about Halloween and show are old pictures as a dare. Yes we played truth or dare with like 41 people but it was so fun we ended up staying and playing there until 1am but it was 100% worth it! "Hey show your adorrrrible picture with you and Beomgyu!" Yuna teased. Oooooh's and Ahhhhh's came from all over the room, including the staff! I just blushed as Beomgyu got out his phone and showed everyone.

The final game we played was hide and seek. We could hide anywhere In this main hall. We split up into groups where we had to hide together. Jungkook, Yugyeom, BamBam, and Changbin we're counting first while Me, Beomgyu, and Nayeon all hid near the front doors of the auditorium. Laughter came from all over the hall. Felix, Chan, Youngjae, and J-hope got found first because it is impossible for them to ever shut up, but their laughs made other teams laugh. It was hard for us not to laugh but somehow we managed.
As the night passed and the fun lasted, the night was over and I was already in my bed. "Yeji, Unnie?" I say. "What?" Yeji says acting as if she is annoyed. "Today was the best day of my life, we should do that more often" I reply closing my eyes and envision everyone laughing. "Yeah we should, we should have a JYP meetup every month" Yeji says "And Big Hit and YG" I reply. "More people can make it a lot more fun but even more chaotic" Yeji says. "Let's just have good dreams, we have to prepare are USA tour tomorrow" Yeji says turning off her lamp. "Good night Unnie" i say as my eyes slowly start to close.

The games were over and as we were heading out of the doors I gave Ryujin a big hug again and kissed her again. Never wanting to let go. "I love you!" I shout as she opens her car door. "I love you too! See you soon!" She says waving and getting into her car. I just watch her car go out of view as I just start to chuckle to myself. "Yah! Beomgyu c'mon!" I hear Yeonjun call out. I run to the car and before I knew it I was already in bed. Today was the best day of my life for sure. I fell asleep. Dreaming about an even better night when JYP, Big Hit, and YG groups all came together and had such a fun night. Life felt good now, I hope it can stay like this forever.
