I continued to dance around her room, holding her waist just tight enough to stop any attempt to escape, and sighed. "This is the life we could've had Kitten, but you turned me down before I even had the chance."

"Felix, don't try to make me feel bad."

"Ah, but there is no more Felix." I hoisted her up into a bridal pose and exited her room and into the cold breeze. "He was dead as soon as this suit appeared on my body... Do you like it?" I nuzzled my nose into her hair and sniffed it. She smelled of vanilla and butter.

In response, she stiffened and shivered. I suppose my hands were too cold for her liking. Within seconds, yarn wove itself around her neck and into a thick scarf.

"Is that better?" I cooed. "Let me know if you get cold still." I jumped down to the street and walked the rest of the way noticing how Marinette clung to me in fear of being dropped. "I'm sorry about that Kitten, I will make you as comfortable as possible, okay?"

She made a small sound of annoyance but didn't fight back regardless. This surprised me since I was so sure that she would kick and shout. It scared me that she could do that at any moment, and then I would have to tie her up like some criminal.

When we reached my fortress, I rearranged my yarn so that a room was made especially for her. Although I had no brightly colored wool at my disposal, I tried to muster a soft pink. Though it came out a light grey with subtle hints of the warm color, I gave her the room regardless. She shimmied out of my arms in anticipation to be away from me, and I let her go. It wasn't like she could just up and leave.

"You said that Nino was going to be your first attack." She huddled in the corner of the room, farthest away from me. "Why would you lie?"

I tapped the ground and a chair appeared along with a large canopy bed. "I didn't lie. That mangey cat just didn't trust me." I sat in the chair and played with the kitten made of yarn. "He went against his word, I go against mine." I shrugged. "Although," my stomach sunk. "I really did hope they would work with me."

"Of course you did." She rolled her eyes, still on the floor.

Rolling my eyes back, I walked over to her and picked her up. She flinched at the touch, but as swiftly as I could, I brought her over to the bed. With a snap of my fingers, the blankets lifted and fell again to cover her small body. "I'm being serious Marinette." I sat on the farthest edge of the best to make her feel safe. "I wanted you to feel assured by their presence, and know that I wouldn't hurt you, even if I was given the chance... But that doesn't matter now because it's not like that plan would have worked."

She looked confused. "Why?"

"Because Marinette and Ladybug can't be in the same room together," I smirked. "My Kitten is my enemy, but so be it."

That's when I saw the panic set in. She must've thought she could take me down when I had my back turned to her, now that I knew she was Ladybug, there was no way I would let her out of my sight.

"I'm so proud of you Kitten." I clapped my gloves together. "You make a lovely hero, but to think you were the cause of this Akuma..." I looked at the woven toy in solace. "It breaks my heart even more."

She tried to deny the accusation and change the subject by commenting on literally anything. "Um, why yarn for the suit? I had originally thought of using velvet or something else."

"My pretty kitty, you can't trick me." I got up and walked to the door. "Stay here and don't mess anything up with those claws of yours." I shut the door with a quiet puff. Even though the yarn was stiff, it wasn't exactly loud. It is for this exact reason that I tapped the wall next to the door and boarded it up even more. "Goodness me." I chuckled darkly. "That cat doesn't know what's coming to him."
