Chapter 6

He didn't know why he ended up with only jungkook on the table why the other 4 are buying out snacks, he fidget with his fingers taking a few glances at the ravenette boy who obviously wouldn't even dare to gaze at him. he was shy and just doesn't know what kind of topic they would talk abt, his gaze suddenly fell down on his strawberry jam sandwich and smiled.

"uh...what ice cream flavour do you prefer more? strawberry or mint choco?" taehyung asked breaking out the awkward silence settled between them, the asked boy look at the other with a raised brow as he cleared his throat staring at the others irises.

"mint" jungkook answered shortly looking away at the younger who frowned at his answer, taehyung doesn't like mint since before it disgust him and it taste like toothpaste.

"really? why? do you know strawberry is much better!" taehyung piped out as he gulp at the sudden intense gaze he got from the other.

"mint make my mouth cold and it's just not tasty" he added, contented with what he said.

"that's why it's called mint" jungkook murmured as taehyung's cheeks flushed red by the remark and laughed awkwardly.

silence suddenly entered the two again, none of them daring to speak up of course not at taehyung's flustered situation and just jungkook who doesn't really like to talk.

"uh hey, i need to go now" jungkook mumbled as he stand up and look at the small boy who gaze up on him with those round eyes and innocently nodded munching his sandwich and he couldn't help but to gulp at the sight, he shake of his head and walk out the cafeteria leaving a frowning taehyung.

"Hey—where's jungkook?" Hoseok asked as they walk towards their table only to be met by taehyung who was chewing his sandwich peacefully.

"oh he left already"

"really? but we have a 1 hour break tho?" jimin mumbled thinking that why would their president councilor leave already?

"sooo..what did you and jungkook talk about?" Jin asked as a playful smirked was place on his lips after seeing the youngers flushed reaction.

but it made taehyung think, did jungkook really need to do something or he just didn't want to talk to him?

"Dad!" taehyung called out running towards his father who smiled softly at him and waved, the sky was painted with gray hue and definitely it will rain in any minute.

"how's school?" the middle aged man asked softly, opening the cars door for his son who giggled

"it's fine dad!" taehyung chirped up earning a ruffled on his hair from his father who closed the door and immediately went on the drivers seat as the clouds started to pour water and students ran back inside the building not really wanting to get wet by the rain and some just don't care anymore.

taehyung rested his back on the car seat as he gazed outside only to see the heavy rain pouring down the city of seoul.

"oh? what happened there?" Mr. Kim asked out of nowhere as he looked at the car at the side of the street with a boy fixing it, taehyung raised his brow, the rain's just getting heavier and he was sure this man would get sick after.

"we should help him"

and without any minute, Mr. Kim took the big umbrella with him telling his son that he should just stay inside and bid the younger a goodbye who worriedly eye his father walking down at the side.

probably after ten minutes he can see his father with the wet boy beside him sharing the big umbrella the middle aged man took with him and no one can comprehend taehyung's reaction after he saw who the boy was.

"Jungkook?"
