Chapter 36

"tae.. its been three days aren't you going to talk to him?" jimin asked scooting closer next to the younger who shook his head, a big comforter hugging his small form almost swallowing him up.

"you know jungkook's been bugging us specially me" the older mumbled chuckling after as he recall the incident yesterday when jungkook didn't stop throwing questions on him, obviously worried about taehyung. "he kept asking me if you're okay, if you eat properly on time, if you still keep receiving paper rings from the little boy at the nursery"

that made taehyung giggled lightly, his boyfriend never changed no matter how upset he could get, he wasn't sure if this is just him being childish but he got sad when he somehow heard what jungkook answered from the question his grandma had also asked him.

taehyung was about to enter the car when he suddenly remembered he forgot to get his umbrella inside, the one his father told him to bring as he told the driver to wait for a minute he get inside the mansion but soon stop froze on his tracks when he heard it.

"any plans on marrying taehyung?" it was chairman hwang, he couldn't help but smile because he was asked the same thing awhile ago as he hid behind the wall a little far where the three were seated, he was excited yet nervous to hear jungkook's answer but after three minutes or so he didn't heard anything...

"i.. don't know" it was jungkook's voice. taehyung's smile soon fell from his lips, a rather shock and upset one visible on his face, how could the older answer that way? he's not ready yet? or he just doesn't want to marry him— before he could continue with his negative thoughts, he ran outside and get inside the car, completely forgetting about the umbrella.

"what if he said something first before that? you said you were far way from them tae and probably didn't heard it" jimin uttered looking at the other who have a pout on his lips. "come on now, jungkook misses you so much..and i know you do as well but atleast tell him why you're like this and then you'll know why he answered like that, right?"

jimin's right, he shouldn't had reacted this way, if he just talked about it with his boyfriend then maybe they're fine now, how stupid can he be?

"i know that look, come here let's dress you up and i'll tell jungkook you want to talk to him" he smiled at his best friend, what will he do without the older? get yourself a jimin, everyone deserves a jimin.

taehyung fiddled with his fingers, he's definitely nervous, he's absolutely embarrassed acting that way, he doesn't know where would he start to tell jungkook why he acted that way. he's currently at the park, standing near the front gate. he knew it'll soon rain but he couldn't care about it now, he wanted to see jungkook.

the sky already in a gray hue, it started to rumble and in a minute, it really did start raining.

"why didn't you bring an umbrella?"

that voice, that familiar voice that he always loves to hear, that soothing voice that would always comfort him. the said man standing beside him holding an umbrella for him not to get wet gave him a smile.

"jungkook..." he whispered locking gazes with the older as he hugged him tightly that made the older got loose of his hold on the umbrella as he embraced the taehyung back.

"i missed you" was all he said, placing a soft peck on the youngers temple.

"i'm sorry for acting that way.. you're probably confused on why i did that" he was supposed to get out of their hug so he can explain himself clearly but jungkook stopped him on doing so, holding him tightly.

"jimin already told me"

taehyung sighs in relief, obviously thankful on his bestfriend

"of course i want to marry you love, being with you feels amazing and the thought of it staying by your side forever is such a dream for me.. you're probably confused on why i answered that way" jungkook breathlessly chuckled "its just that i don't know if you're already ready for a married life, you still have your own dreams in life and i want to be there with you while you're reaching and striving for it... because marriage isn't just a decision for me, its takes for us two" taehyung couldn't help the tears that brims on his eyes "i don't want to stress you for that now, my taehyung still wants to get his degree and be a teacher someday because he loves teaching kids... we all have the time for ourselves baby, but just so you know... i'll marry you"

the older looked down at taehyung who was sniffling his head buried on his chest as jungkook took a deep breath with a smile and say this six words..

"my surname suits you so much"
