Chapter 24

There's a lot of questions taehyung wanted to ask so bad but he can't, he couldn't even open his mouth. jungkook was still dragging him down the corridors both utterly quiet, he can see the veins that are still propped up on the ravenette's neck but he didnt dare to tell him that's a nonsense thing to say and obviously not in this kind of situation. their hands are still latched together jungkook gripping it tightly more like once he let go, he'll lose the younger. 

both didnt even notice the bright afternoon sunlight was replace by huge dark clouds, alerting everyone to gathered up their belongings and some of the boxes on the field knowing that the rain will soon pour down. taehyung shrieked once the roaring of thunders begun, lightnings appeared on the gray hue clouds but jungkook didnt really minded it still planning to pull the younger with him at the middle of the field not listening to the youngers protest of not going here, he needed to say it and he knew taehyung wanted to hear it as well.

"taehyu-"

"h-hyung we need to go inside now it will rain soon" the brunette was scared of what the older would say did he just said that he like him to get haneul away and stop on thinking he'll comeback to her? or did he actually mean it?

"taehyung, just listen to me" he gripped the said boys shoulders locking gazes with him, jungkook was more than scared on what would be the outcome of his sudden confession, he didnt actually mean of blurting it out but he was boiling with anger and no one has the right to say right infront of him that taehyung was nothing close to enough and better. 

"did y-you mean that?" the younger asked nervously biting his lip when jungkook smiled softly at him, right hand that was once on his shoulder is place on his head the older ruffling his hair caressing it. there was hesitation on the ravenette's eyes before he did something neither both of them expected. a pair of lips was on his forehead giving it a light peck, he froze on the spot not knowing what to do, cheeks automatically flushed with a bright red. jungkook pulled him on a tight hug wrapping his large arms on taehyung's small petite waist enjoying the warmth he gave and his addicting strawberry vanilla scent. 

taehyung didnt know what to even say so all he did was to hug the older back, his arm tightly wrapped around the ravenette's shoulders loving the way his strong perfume waft through his nostrils. when suddenly the rain angrily poured down but both didnt give a care on it with each others bodies pressed together, it was worth it. 

"i mean it all taehyung" jungkook whispered on his left ear sending chills down his spine, the brunette only nuzzled up closer the olders neck, both bodies are wet from the still pouring rain. 

"i really like you" he added, butterflies swirling down taehyung's stomach. hearing this all the same time was something he wish he can hear it everyday, he was beyond happy knowing that all of his negative thoughts, all that he did was something he wish he never done of. he wanted to say it back, wanting to tell the older he felt the same way but he didnt and instead enjoyed their moment together. 

and this was the cue for jungkook to prove himself to him.
