Chapter 7

Jungkook was raised for being an independent person by his parents who were known for owning one of the most successful company in South Korea, he grow up with maids taking care of him, he never felt the warmth and the love his parents should have gave him but because works always come first to them, they never had the chance to look after their only son.

he wasn't a type of person who rely on someone else, he was a hard-working student doing everything just to make everyone proud of him that's why he was known for being an ace student on the university he was studying at. he never miss the chance to have tons of awards and medals all wrapped around him, with his mom oh so feeling proud for him and his father as well, since he also know that his taking the position as the next ceo for their family's company.

but now he was awkwardly sat down on the couch with taehyung across from him, he was in utter shock after seeing the brunette boy inside the car 20 minutes ago it just happens that the middle aged man was the youngers father. taehyung just muttered a 'hi' on him a while ago but now he wasn't even daring to look at him, which he thought was cute but who was he to blurt that out?.

"are you okay now son? the rain's still pouring heavy outside and the repair shop i talk to said that they'll take the car and fix it" Mr. Kim interrupted placing down the tray of snacks and drinks prepared just for him, which he declined a while ago but the middle aged man just shook his head with a chuckle and gave him a bunch of this.

"thank you sir" jungkook said bowing his head earning a smile from the man who replied with 'aigoo no need, just eat them all up'

"dad i want some too" taehyung look up on his father with a pout place on his lips as he pointed at the variety of biscuits and chips displayed on the tray.

"here" the ravenette boy subtly said pushing the tray to him, a blush spread through his squishy cheeks as he slowly took some.

he doesn't like talking, he found it boring and just a waste of time and saliva for him, he was just used to having his maids and his two friends Jimin and hoseok around him, so with him on taehyung's residence was something new to him. he also have notice the closeness the man and taehyung has like they just look like best friends out there but actually a father and a son who loves each other.

and with taehyung's giggles echoing the living room, his nose scrunched, his eyes turn into crescents was something he couldn't deny to stare at.

Jungkook had thanked The man for the nth time now and the middle aged man couldn't help but just to let out a chuckle and shake it off to the younger saying that it wasn't a big deal.

"i told you son no need to thank me"

"But sir atleast I could do something in return? like anything" jungkook pleased his hand clutching the paper bag with his wet clothes inside.

"i do need to leave this midnight for some business purposes so i couldn't take my son to school, can you fetch him here for me" Mr. Kim asked placing his hands on his back as he look at the youngers face with his unexpected request but jungkook just nod.

"sure sir, I'll fetch taehyung tomorrow"
