2.wait And Watch

Jia POV...

As I pick the phone after looking at the caller ID which showed eun woo.

"hello?"

"mom filled for a divorce and dad is signing it. And you are needed here. " his words gave me a shock.

I wasn't scared at the fact that they are getting divorced but how can mom fall so down as to break dad's heart and why was I out of everyone needed.

I looked at taehyung who looked equally perplexed.

"I will be coming there soon." I said to eun woo and hung up.

I immediately got up from the table.

"where........ Are you going?" he asked following me.

"I need to go home. There is a situation." I say and walk to get ready to go out.

"should I follow?"

I look at him for a second. I should not take him along. It isn't appropriate.

I smile "its okay. It isn't that big. They are casually calling me." I lied and turn to grab my stuff.

"are you sure?" he ask again.

"yup babes." I say with a wink and leave grabbing my stuff.

TAEHYUNG POV...
She was quite casual about it. I guess nothing serious. I quickly finish my food and hers as well. She didn't eat it completely.

I was disappointed at the fact. I can't spend time with her but I accepted it quick and left. Locking her house back to my dorm.

When I got out of my house I bumped into that neighbourhood guy. What was his name again. Yeah Kyung woo.

"hi!" he greets.

"hello."

"are you coming after an alnighter at her house" he ask with a middle aged pervert wink.

"she isn't home." I say

he sighs in dissappointment. I can't just tell him about our deed what if jia doesn't like it.

I bid him bye and left when I got down, I realised she took my car.

I just snicker and then call someone to pick me up.

Jia POV...

I took taehyung's car and reached home within 30 mins. I randomly park the car and enter my house. The atmosphere in our house was weird.

All the staff were surrounding the place.
It looked like an atmosphere that is created when I create some kind of trouble.

I enter the hall and saw Dad who was looking down, Eun woo immediately looked at me and byul who was on his girlfriend's arm, was standing near the dinning table along with jae yi.

My mom who was was sitting there just across dad.

"I mean what?" I immediately ask. Catching attention of everyone who hasn't seen me yet.

My mom looked at me straight into my eyes probably for the first time as much as I remember.

"honey you came" mom says and immediately jumps on me.

I was shocked. I didn't hug her back but looked at eun woo in confusion. I could see jae yi sigh. Even unnie(eun woo's girlfriend) looked awkward. Dad still had his hands crossed in front of his chest.

I gently push her back. She looked at me with love.

Wait. Has she hit her head somewhere or what?

The staff serve me water and I thanked her.

"mom and dad are getting a divorce" eun woo said.

"yeah. You told me. Mom filled for it." I confirm and awkwardly glance at mom who was still looking at me with a smile.

That was actually scaring me. I didn't meet her gazes.

"your mom wants to take your custody as the alimony." dad quickly answers cutting eun woo off.

I chocked on the water I was drinking. Eun woo quickly pat me.

"you want me....... As the alimony out of all the money you can get." I calmy ask "have you lost your mind or what?" I ask in a panic tone.

I took a quick sip of water.

My dad was still sitting like that.

"apparently grandpa and grand ma have put all of their property. From bungalows, plots, business, shares. Everything they own under your name. They refuse to give anything to mom, me, jae yi or even dad." eun woo says.

I choke on the water spitting most of it." what. the. Mf. fuck." I Curse not caring a thing.

"Did you bring me here to give me a heart attack or what. First you are telling me mom. I mean this bitch who apparently gave birth to me wants me. Then I got to know my grandparents property belongs to me and ofc your divorce too." I say in my high pitch.

Everyone looks at me. Specially an offended mother.

" jia! Watch your language." jae yi says as everyone looked at me as if I did a sin.

" you shut up. You would have reacted the same when you would have gotten the shock." I scold her.

"jia calm down. We can move to another country." the woman called mom says with a smile holding my hand.

I quickly yeet her hand away "I am a legal adult. I don't have to be under anyone's custody. Especially yours." I shout at her while fuming.

My dad looks at me for the first time during all of the mess.

"let's get this straight. You want a divorce. Take it. But don't pull me into this. I am totally not interested in this." I make it clear.

"jia!!! Think about me" she pleads.

"have some shame. Since the time I was born. The very first time you ever hugged me was today and that too for money. I don't care if you are nice or not. Just stay away from me and do not expect a thing from us.

Now if you are taking a divorce stay away from my family too." as I say Jae yi and unnie looked at me while even byul being quite as well. Eun woo and dad both had a plain face.

Mom was taking deep breaths. While almost scoffing. The staff were covering their mouth and looking at each other.

" I won't take jae yi or eun woo with me and jia doesn't want to come. But i may lose my mind and make you lose your everything." she finally says in the way she actually is.

She walks closer to me "I am your mom. You can be anything but never will you win against me. Just wait and watch. How i crumble your every thing. And that day you will come to me begging on your own knees." she says. That was quite threatening after all. I was still scared of them. Before I had nothing to lose but now i have taehyung.

I don't have to worry about byul. She is safely with us. I don't know what anxiety is filled in me. But it is scaring me. So I did what I do when I am scared.

I smiled the brightest I could ever. "I neither have patience or time to wait and watch. Please make it fast. I might lose interest if it takes long." I say with a smirk pissing her off.
