21. Increase The Speed

"I am paying you half in advance. Rest after the work is done" the man said as she passes a thick envolop.

While the woman arrogantly standing infront removes her candy from mouth and smirks while taking the envolop.

"don't worry Lucy never fails." she says cockily as she leaves the place putting her hoodie and bent to wink at a woman sitting in the car behind.

The woman wasn't visible, while the man turns and proceeds to leave.

Walking back to the car and sitting in the drivers seat. While on the back seat it reveals to be heo soo ji arrogantly sitting their with an evil smile.

Typing on her phone a text. A text about a surprise.

The text was sent to joo yeong.

"your aunt, has a suprise for you" she sent the text.

........ Few weeks later..........

TAEHYUNG POV...
"so, you were the one who stole the phone?" I say looking at the guy who came upto me for his honest confession.

But I still am grateful ATLEAST it made our relationship more clear and missunderstanding less.

"I am so sorry. I just got jealous and I am really apologizing sincerely" junghoons says while bowing.

This morning he suddenly came upto me and confessed giving me my phone back.

"it's fine. Every thing is okay now. Actually I'm grateful" I say smiling.

He smiles and was about to leave when he turns.

"pls don't tell jia about this" he requests. Desperately.

"fine" I say with a chuckle. He bows and leaves.

I sigh and look at the phone. I took out my new phone and  immediately made a call jia. While laying on the couch.

Jia POV...
I was driving to big hit building. When got a call from him. I smile as I read the name on the caller ID.

"hi babes!" I say as soon as a pick the call.

TAEHYUNG POV.

"hi babes" I look at the phone re-reading the ID to confirm if I called the right person and it was.

Jia POV...

"what's with babes huh" he ask teasingly.

"if you don't want I won't call"

"call me oppa then" he immediately says.

How much a cringed. "eww, taehyung eww. I mean oppa it's really cringe trust me."

"is that so? Then what are gonno call me?"

"taehyung for forever." I say

"actually it really turns me on whenever you call me taehyung." he replies.

"oh really. Then taehyung!" I tease and call him while driving.

"yes?" he replies in the same tone.

"taehyung?"

"yes?"

We laugh at it when he says.

"you know today someone returned my old phone back."

"who!?" I curiosly ask.

"ummm....it was well anonymous"

"oh really?" I ask.

"ofc.....its not someone confessed to me and said he did it because he got jealous and then even ask me to not tell you about and I won't even say it" he says with a scoff.

"yeah, why not. But I didn't ask"

"oh yeah." he sloppily replies making me chuckle.

I was so busy in talking that when I saw a car infront of and pressed the break It didn't work.

My heart stopped beating. He was speaking but I started panicking. I immediately I tried multiple times but no repose.

So at the end moment to avoid an accident with the car I had to turn the steering wheel to change direction and then had to drive without hitting anyone.

"jia? What happened" he asked in a serious tone.

"taehyung I think my breaks aren't working." I reply while I was sweating and trying to control my anxiety attack.

"what!?" I heard an exclamation from the other side.

"taehyung what do I do?, these brakes aren't working" I kept on trying to put the brakes but it was in vain everytime. I was just driving trying to avoid stuffs.

TAEHYUNG POV....

For a second I could not understand a thing but I got myself together.

"jia drive at the minimum speed you can drive and don't cut the call" I tell her.

"okay" I could feel her shiver from the other side. I immediately grabbed my jacket and my old phone.

I called Mr. Lee from it.

"you son of a bitch. You tried to steel his highness's phone-" he probably thought it was the thief.

"Mr. Lee its me. I got the phone back, I'll explain everything later right now it's an emergency. Jia's brake ar et working and she is driving." I ask him as I grab the car keys and run out of there.

"yes,sir" he immediately replies. I could hear him running.

As I was going from there I saw jimin and jungkook. They were probably anticipating for a high five but I crossed them and back runned facing them.

" jia's driving and her brakes have failed." as I say, they panic and run to me.

I didnt have energy to fight them. As I sit in the car and take the passenger seat. Because I need to talk to Mr. Lee also.
Jungkook drove off while jimin on the back seat was calling hyungs and informing the situation.

As he told them they also panicked and immediately ran to Mr. Lee or mom I suppose.

I was on call with Jia. I won't say anything infront of her. I would mute it to give them crucial info that she should not hear or she'll freak out. She is already holding good.

"jia, Listen what's ur speed right now?" I ask.

"i-its n-not going down than 60. That's the least I'm able to go." she said. She was obviously controlling her stammer.

"jia! Is a car following you?" jungkook immediately ask.

"I don't know. For now it's the same lane so I don't know!!" she immediately answer

"then as soon as you notice. Inform" jungkook says while again driving to where her car is going.

Mr. Lee had sent me her location

While Mr. Lee spoke. I passed the call to jimin so he can keep her on line.

"sir, we have controlled the traffic. Every car driving in front of miss have been stopped. The lane is clear and traffic police is barricading the road. The red light has put on the favour of miss' car also."

He spoke and put his call aside.

When jia shouted. "jimin!! There is a bike that's even breaking red lights to follow me. Every other car or bike has has stopped except it." as she says I immediately understood and jungkook spoke.

" jia! Increase your speed and try to get away from the car." jungkook shouts.

Her car was being hacked.

Did it get to intense I mean is a bit of action okay.

Cause am I action thriller freak. I have been written rom com so much thts seriously a big deal.
