Chapter 10 - Sneaky

I make my way to my locker and grab my first period books.

I head to class and sit in my usual seat as I start to organize myself.

Soon Em comes in and leans over me, obviously noticing my head.

"What the hell you do to your head!?" She asks while she runs her fingers along the bump.

"Ran into a pole, don't ask" I laugh.

"Smooth move slick" she says as the bell rings and she goes to her seat.

Soon Kian walks in and smiles at me, then also takes his seat.

I notice Connor hasn't come to class yet, where could he be!?

He hasn't missed one day...

I quickly text him a "where r u" as the teacher walks in.

3rd period rolls around and its almost 11, time to fake a PE injury.

As we run around the gym I pretend to trip and fall.

"Ughhhh my ankllleee" I say as I shed out some fake tears.

Muahaha

"Oh honey, go to the nurses and get some ice, and grab all your stuff" my PE teacher says sympathetically.

I nod and wipe my tears as I limp to the locker room to change and grab my backpack.

I soon limp back out and look throughout the gym to see that Kian's gone.

How did he get out before me!? Ugh.

I quickly limp out of the locker room until I get into the hall where I start running out the back door of the school.

I glance around, no sign of Kian.

I walk around the building to see that his car is still here so he's here some where.

Then I had an idea, the library, no one goes there anymore!

I head back into school and run up the stairs.

Sure enough, the library door is opening.

I sneak in and hide under the librarians desk when I hear voices...

"Ok, so were going to do Step 1, find their warehouse" I hear a voice say, it must be Sam's.

"Yea, and I'm pretty sure I found it, my dad use to work there before they shut it down" a gruffly voice says, wait, it's Kians.

"Ok, lead the way, but first I'm going to the bathroom because I drank like 3 Arizonas" Sam laughs.

"Hurry up, I want to find it before lunch starts so I can sit with Jul" Kian replies.

Aww he wants to make it back in time for me.

Snap out of it focus Juls damn.

They soon walk out of the library to the bathroom and I head out following them secretly.

They make a turn into the bathroom and I head out the front doors, hoping none of the office people saw me.

I have a plan.

I make my way to Kian's truck and climb in the back of it.

I lay down and wait for him to come, he won't find me here, hopefully...

About 5 minutes later I hear the beep of a car door being unlocked.

Soon, Kian and Sam climb in to Kian's old truck and it starts to move.

I hold on to what I can and the truck heads out onto the road.

Ughhh where are we going!

Kian has swerved down so many roads I swear I might throw up.

Greaaat...

Soon Kian pulls onto a dirt road.

About 5 miles later Kian stops the truck and they both get out.

"Come on Jul"

Wait what.

I stay quiet until Kian's head appears over the side of the truck.

"You really think I didn't know you would come?" He laughs.

I roll my eyes and sit up and hop out of the truck.

"Jul, meet my best friend Sam, Sam, meet Jul"

"Nice to meet ya" Sam smiles.

"Same to you" I reply back hesitantly.

I wonder if Sam is more or less violent than Kian is....

I glance around our surroundings,

A dirt road with tall trees and about 4/5 factory looking buildings along side the road.

I follow Kian and Sam to the 2nd one along the line.

"Is this it?" Sam asks.

"Yup, those are my dad's shoes in front of the giant door, he cant stand wearing shoes inside"

Sam nods to reply and they both start heading back to the truck.

"That's it? You guys aren't going to go in there with guns or anything?" I ask curiously.

"We're only on step one which was find the place, don't worry babe we'll get there eventually" Kian replies.

"Alrighty then"

We head into the truck and drive back to school when I receive a text from Connor.

Weird, Connors come go school with the flu before, I wonder whats the real reason....
