Chapter 24 - Ups And Downs

Okay stupid test work with me here.

It's still been a week since the incident with Kian's Dad and I still can't focus on anything.

This test is not helping..I know how to do most of the math problems but I just can't focus.

All I can think about is what Kian's dad told me...

Okay good I know a couple of these problems....

I start working on my test but I can't help but look over at Jul, as I usually do during our classes because she's so beautiful.

She's tapping her pencil furiously on the desk and she seems concentrated on looking out the window.

I know she knows all these problems because she said she couldn't text me last night because she was studying for it.

She's always been great at school, but today she looks as if she's nervous about something...

I just wanna go over there and rub her back and say everything's okay.

She's been like this ever since she got home from being at my dads...acting nervous and jumpy..around me especially.

Maybe I'll take her on a nice date tonight to help calm her down about whatever it is.

I then see Jul get up and ask the teacher to leave, I suppose, because she quickly grabs her stuff and hurries out of the classroom...I hope she's okay...

--- Jul's POV ---

I think I'm gonna be sick.

I hurry up and do what I can of my test and hand it to the teacher and tell her I'm not feeling well.

She shoos me out, probably just not wanting me to throw up on her floor.

I grab my stuff and race to the bathroom and well.. Blah

I can't just carry on having this thought in my head..not knowing if its true or not..

I have to tell Kian.

What if it's true!?

Then you'll deal with the consequences and cry for a while.

Oh god

I wash my hands and face and race to the nurses office.

I tell her what happened and she gives me an icepack for my head and a cold paper towel for my stomach.

She says in about 10 minutes she'll let me drive and go home, she just wants me to calm down first.

She exits and leaves me alone as I lay down on the uncomfortable nurse bed.

No way Kian would lie to me like that...

His dad must had lied to me...

Kian DID NOT more than kiss Andrea that night...

The conversation goes through my head...

The door opens again about 10 minutes later, "Here's your water Julia"

The water bottle hasn't been opened yet so its trustworthy, he didn't contaminate it or anything.

"Thanks" I reply with a slight smile.
