Chapter 7 - Dangerous Problems

Soon the bell rings and I quickly swerve through the hoards of students to my car.

I pull onto the road and I hear a honk behind me.

I see its Kian in his old truck.

I wave and we both head off towards the park.

We soon arrive and park and head to the bench that looks over the hill.

We sit in silence for about 5 min until Kian speaks up.

"Ok, before I tell you ANYTHING I have to warn you, this could affect you"

I nod sternly and look him in the eye, this is gonna be interesting....

"About 6 years ago, my parents got into a divorce, due to my abusive dad towards my mom and my sister.So my sister and I just lived with my mom. 3 years later, my sister went out to the mall to hang out with some friends. She was driving and someone completely rammed into her and swerved her off the road. When I got the call and went to the sight, she was gone. The only things that remained was her car and, well, my dads car. Ever since then, I've been protecting my mom and keeping us safe from my dad. I've been talking to some people who know my dad and trying to make a deal to get her back. Like the guy you saw in the mall. I'm not in a gang or anything, I just have a partner and his name is Sam, you might have seen him around school. Also this is why I dyed my hair blonde, to be less recconisable with my brown hair. This is a lot to take in, I know, and I shouldn't tell you this because my dad could use you against me. Which is why I'll keep an eye on you too. Believe me I know what my dads capable of, this all resulted in my therapy I told you about and my problems and blah blah blah."

I stare wide eyed at Kian, and slowly nod.

Holy crap. Just, woah.

By this point Kian scooted closer to me and put his hand on top of mine.

"I'm sorry, I just feel like I can trust you, and I understand if you don't want any part of this, and I-"

By this point, I just smack my lips against his, shutting him up.

He jumped a little startled, but he kissed back.

We let go after a few seconds.

"I'm sorry Kiki, but now that I'm in this mess, you can't get me out, believe me, ask Em"

I smile at him and give him a hug.

"Now, how about that date I promised you?" Kian whispers in my ear.

I whisper back, "Hey little mama lemme whisper in your ear"

We both laugh and break the hug.

"I'll pick you up at about 7:30? No questions ask?"

"Deal, just because Mr. President would love to see you"

Kian laughs and we get up.

He puts his hand in mine and we walk to our cars.

He hug one last time and I head home.

In the car I don't even bother to turn on the radio and just think.

Surrprisingly, I'm calm. Like, ok then. I guess I just like Kian too much to be ok to help him with this.

Wait what

I'm falling for Kian Lawley!?

I guess so,

Wait no,

Wait yes.

Yep im falling for Kian Lawley.

And that's Ok, I mean, Em and Connor won't be happy, but they'll come around.

I soon arrive home and get ready for the date, not knowing anything about what we're doing.

It'll all work out, Kian will become a better guy, find his sister, put his dad in jail, right!??

Kian has a lot of dangerous problems, buts that's ok, he's MY dangerous problem. And if I have to act dangerously, so be it.
