"Liv?"

"Huh?"

"Liv?" I heard a muffled voice say over and over as I tried, I mean really tried to open my eyes, but it was so hard and the lights were so bright. Eventually, they decided to open and I decided to wake up properly, only to find my throat as dry and the Sahara desert.

"Water, is there any water?" Suddenly someone rushed to my side and helped me to slurp a cup of water, feeling slightly rejuvenated I slowly sat up, adjusting my bed so I could sit upright with little effort, my body burned and my ankles were so swollen it hurt.

Adjusting my bed? Oh yes, a hospital.

"What happened Liv?" Harry spoke as he sat next to a very concerned Harrison, Jackson and my father Ricci. "You tell me? I just remember being in a lot of pain" I mumbled, sounding as masculine as ever.

"You managed to come 3rd so well done for that! It was a miracle that a trainee did so well!" Harry gushed throwing his hands up smiling and then patting my dad on the back.

"Yeah but at the end you just collapsed in my arms and you wouldn't wake up, we thought we'd have to get the de fib out on you but then your dad here said you had a heart condition! Why did you take part Liv? You shouldn't be doing things like that?" Jackson questioned.

I hung my head, especially as I knew that I shouldn't have done the challenge but everyone had made such a deal out of me doing it I couldn't turn it down. I thought i had more to prove than I did.

"I just wanted to show Luke who's boss I guess" I giggled slightly but no one else seemed to find it funny so I stopped and slumped back into my mattress.

"All that matters is that you're okay now" Harry mumbled and he knocked dad on the shoulder and pointed at the two doctors outside my room, the pair of them got up and left room silently together.

"Well, that was awkward" I sighed.

"Well done for trashing Luke though" Harrison chuckled.

"He was miles behind! Didn't stand a chance even with your little sitch you had!" Jackson smiled.

"Really? Was he that far back? Oh god work is going to be brilliant tomorrow, if I can come in" I huffed, it would only be my second day and I'd already cocked up on my health. "Thanks for catching me by the way" I laughed holding my fist out for Jackson to bump.

"Yeah we've spoken about it already, you'll be on tower duty!"

"Oh really?" I smiled.

"Yeah, although I can't even begin to imagine how angry Luke is so don't go too far" Jackson laughed as a doctors head appeared around the door.

"Hi, Olivia? You'll be good to go in just a few hours, as you know your pain will go with the medication we've administered you, take that and you'll be right as rain, just don't, do not, do all of that exercise again" she shook her head before disappearing again.

"Awesome!" I smiled clapping my hands.

"Yeah awesome, not awesome is you having to explain to the boys at the beach what happened and why" Harry raised his eyebrows as he walked back into the room with my dad.

"Oh, crap" I sighed looking at my hands.

********

"Good morning boys!" I chimed as I hauled myself into the hut and up the small set of steps. An array of "Liv's" and "Olivia!" 'S yelled at me were crazy as all the boys greeted me with a smile and an almost relieved atmosphere filled the room that I was okay.

"What happened out there man?" Kert grinned as he took my in his arms and hugged me tight before pulling away.

"I've got to explain that to you boys actually" I sighed itching the back if my neck awkwardly as we all gathered in the centre of the hut, as I trudged to a corner I spotted Luke sulking and staring daggers into my back.

"BOYS listen up to Liv, she's got some explaining to do" Haynes yelled to quieten everyone down, the volume succumbed to a silence very fast. I shot a smile towards Luke but he looked away, he was NOT happy.

"So, basically boys" I started as they all turned to me for an explanation, I swallowed as a lump formed in my throat and I got nervous

"I basically, I've got to take it easy now. I've had, I have heart disease and have done for a while now, I just, pushed myself a little too hard yesterday so I'm on tower for the rest of the week" I saw a few of the boys faces drop.

"Don't worry about me though, I'm right as rain, if I need help you'll know I promise" I smiled trying to reassure the ones who look saddened.

"Cry me a river" Luke scoffed in the corner, I was considerably taken aback by his rash comment and so were those who heard it.

"Excuse me?" I scowled as I looked at him.

"It's all sympathy for you isn't it?" He hissed standing up to face me.

"No? I went to hospital, It's hardly a joke" I looked at him confused. I wasn't going to spit back at this petty human.

"Just because you got beat by a girl yesterday Luke, calm your shit" one of the boys tried to ease the situation but it wasn't happening.

"Calm my shit?" Explosion pending.

"Ever since SHE got here you've all been head in the clouds happy clappy and clueless!" He growled pointing at me in anger.

"Who do you even think you are? Walking in here like you know the score, you're a newbie for a reason, start acting like one" he hissed getting right up into my face, I didn't respond but I was angry.

"You're slightly close there" I whispered trying not to snap.

"Yeah, I know, because I want you to know that you should answer to me, not the other way around newbie, you're not a queen"

"And you're not a king" I squared up to him as other around started to realise it wasn't just a joke anymore, this was real feelings from Luke.

"Maybe you should act your age and stop acting like a big dog, because you're not all that" I stated crossing my arms and shrugging him off.

"And you're a joke" and with that small statement his hands reached my chest with a mighty thump as he pushed me backwards, launching me into the desk. In an instant I was on the desk gasping for breath in shock and a few of the boys had grabbed hold of Luke, I stared at him wide eyed.

Deano and Joe helped me to sit up as I watched Luke shake the boys off, curse and shout before launching himself out of the hut in anger.

"Are you okay Liv?" Everyone gushed as I got my breath back and I was pulled to my feet.

"Yeah just give me some room" I sighed as I sat back into one of the viewpoint chairs and the boys backed away slowly.

"Just in shock" I stuttered as Kert rubbed my back and smiled.

"We'll sort the kid out Liv don't worry" he hushed as I breathed slowly.

"Right boys back to work nothing to see, move on and we'll deal with this" Haynes boomed as all the boys dispersed from the hut with small smiles of sympathy in my direction.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah" I sighed in shock

"I knew he hated me but I didn't think it was that much" I shrugged, feeling withered.

"We'll sort him, for the mean time you're up here with Charlie so you guys and chill chat and keep a look out alright?" Haynes smiled placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah" I nodded as I turned my chair away and Kert and Haynes walked out of the hut in deep discussion.

"Dude it's not even 8am yet and it's already blown up!" Charlie laughed, I giggled slightly but that stopped when I thought back to him pushing me. Today was going to be a tough and long day.
