I was back on the beach, feeling very refreshed and wonderful minus the mishaps that happened with my night out with the girls.
Mel was feeling much better thank god, it's strange to think I'd saved her life, I'd never saved anyone before, I guess I really was some Miracle Girl with all these things happening.
As I wondered up to the lifeguard hut I heard someone shout my name from behind
"Liv!" It was Haynes
"Good morning, Boss, What can I help you with?" I smiled as he stood above me.
"You need to have a chat with Luke" he said bluntly.
"Me? And Luke? Having a conversation? Incase you haven't realised, the boy hates me, how are you going to manage that?"
"You have to, benefit the team and work out your differences, please, for me?" Haynes pulled some puppy dog eyes and I laughed.
"Alright, I'll take him aside when I get into the hut. But remember its him with the problem, not me" I sighed smiling.
"That's my girl" he smiled back ruffling my hair.

"Good morning lads!" I chimed as I pushed the door open to see Deano, Luke, Joe and Kert. Most turned, smiled and said a hello, but Luke instantly made a beeline for the other door so I jumped into his way.
"Not so fast my dear, we need a chat" I said deadpan, he didn't look impressed.
"What is there to chat about?" He huffed.
"Your attitude, in general and towards me. Plus Haynes needs us to put whatever this is behind us. We are hindering the team." I whispered so the boys couldn't hear.
"Come on" I beckoned him back out of the door and he followed behind me with heavy footsteps. I leant against the railings at the front of the hut looking out to sea, it had just gone 6 and the sunrise was nearly over.
"This is ridiculous" he hissed.
"No, what's ridiculous is the way to speak to me and act around me and I don't even know why? Is it something I've said? Something I've done?"
"You're an idiot" he spat again and laughed.
I just looked at him with wide eyes, I was so confused and majorly pissed off with the way he was dismissing me
"If I'm such an idiot why don't you just TALK to me! Tell me what's wrong? Why you're so blunt? So angry with me?"
"IS IT NOT OBVIOUS?" No, but what was obvious was the fact I think something in him had just snapped judging by the shouting and the vein protruding out of his neck.
"NO Luke!"
"I LIKE YOU"
I stood for a moment in shock, my eyes widened as I looked at him, my shoulders relaxed and I took a step back. "What? You, like me? As in.."
"Yes as in, I wanna take you out on a date like you, but you hardly pay me any attention ever! And it makes me so angry!"
"So that's why you're so rude to Me? So I'll pay you some attention?" Suddenly the realisation washed over me and I let out a small giggle.
"Luke that's ridiculous, you don't have to be nasty to me for me to pay attention to you? thats the ONE thing that will put me off you? And you call ME the idiot?".
"That's just the way I handle things like that, I'm not good with it all" he sighed leaning on the barrier. "I'm sorry for treating you so poorly. Please, don't tell the boys when they ask why we spoke, I don't want that agro after all the nasty things I said to you, which, I am really sorry for" he huffed running his hands through his hair.
