Jason's p.o.v.

I watched the little girl through the rabbit's eyes as she slept. I had been watching her since she left my little shop curious as to why Splendorman made her his proxy. Surely he wouldn't do that to just any child so what made her so special? I was getting bored at first since she seemed like a normal child until my rabbit was suddenly passed over to Splendor. Not too long after he had run into the restroom she had gone to and I witnessed her having what could only be described as a surge of energy.

"Interesting. Seems the child is more special than I thought. There must be a way to separate the two for a short period of time." I thought aloud as I turned and made my way into my workshop to think.

A few hours later I spied on the child once more to see a completely different little girl before my rabbit was suddenly tossed aside as I growled. How dare she treat my toy like that! The ungrateful brat! I growled but kept calm as best I could when the rabbit was picked up by Splendor. I watched as he crouched down to her level and asked her why she threw it only to get a disgusted look towards the rabbit.

"I don't like it." She muttered as she stared directly at the rabbit's eyes as if she was talking to me and I frowned. It would appear this child was more perceptive than I thought.

I continued to watch as my curiosity grew and the child eventually began swaying back and fourth until Splendor caught her. She seemed exhausted and Splendor carried her upstairs to a bedroom. I expected him to place Vivi beside the little girl as he tucked her in but to my surprise, the rabbit was placed in a chair on the other side of the room while the other two were tucked into the bed with her.  Frowning annoyed, I watched and listened as Splendor knelt down and gave the little girl a kiss on the forehead.

"Sweet dreams Scarlett. Sleep well sweetie." He cooed before standing up and leaving. Once he was gone, I waited before distorting the room allowing the door to my workshop to appear in the room and stepped inside the small room with the child I now know as Scarlett.

I made sure to stay quiet not wanting to alert the others of my presence considering many of them weren't too fond of me. Standing over the child, I got a good look at her and tilted my head curious as to how she was even alive. As I examined her I chuckled to myself thinking about how beautiful of a doll she would make. I just needed to fix her up and she'd be perfect. To my surprise however, I must've woken her up because her eyes suddenly opened as she looked at me with an annoyed expression.

"Finally decided to show your face huh? Took you long enough. What do you want?" She asked as she sat up and I grinned before bowing.

"Why my dear I simply wish to be friends! Nothing more, nothing less." I exclaimed with a wide grin and picked up the rabbit she had gotten from me and held it in my hands with a frown.

"What's wrong with little Vivi? Did you not like her? She seems awfully lonely all by herself." I questioned and Scarlett frowned.

Scarlett's p.o.v.

I frowned at the man before me. I already knew who he was and even if I hadn't I wouldn't have trusted him anyway. There was a dark feeling around him that I didn't like and that was saying something considering the people I call family are serial killers. Annoyed by his presence already I got out of bed and made my way to the door ignoring my body's need for sleep screaming at me. Not even halfway to the door, I found myself being scooped into Jason's arms and I glared at him.

"Come now my dear sweet child I just wish to be friends. I don't have any friends, won't you give me a chance?" He pleaded and I simply looked at him.

"Won't you put me down?" I questioned bored and his smile faltered before suddenly growing wide as his eyes began to glow a bright green color.

"I know! I'll take you to my workshop and fix you up that way we can be friends forever and have so much fun! Doesn't that sound wonderful!" He exclaimed as he began laughing.

"No"

"My dear you act as if you have a choice! You're too weak to do anything!" He laughed and started walking towards a blue door that wasn't there before.

"No" I repeated and he looked at me as he frowned.

"I don't believe you understand how this works. You can't just simply say no and expect me to let you go."

"Yes I can...No"

"I uh..."

"No. ...Put me down." I watched as he scratched his head confused.

"You are a strange child."

"Thank you...Now put me down." I said and the door behind us opened to reveal Zalgo.

"I believe the child asked you to let her go Jason." He said and I looked at him and smiled lifting my arm as the other formed from black smoke wanting him to take me from Jason. I felt Jason's hold on me tense as he looked at Zalgo with fear.

I soon relaxed as Zalgo plucked me from Jason's hold and held me against his chest. Despite how rough his body was I was comfortable and felt safe as I curled up in his arms. His body was warm against my cold skin and it only made me want to fall asleep even more.

"Now I suggest you leave before I change my mind on sparing you. And take that vile toy with you. She won't be needing it after all." Zalgo suggested and I looked at Jason to see his scowling and furious before grinning and chuckling as he picked up the rabbit.

"Very well. I'll see you again my dear. I do hope we can become friends." He said and left through the door that disappeared once he was gone. I yawned as I looked up at Zalgo and smiled.

"Nice to see you again. So why are you here?" I asked rubbing my eye and he carried me back to my bed and gently tucked me in.

"Splendorman asked me to place a small spell on the rabbit I gave you. It should absorb any excess energy you have so this doesn't happen again."  He explained as he picked Finny up and I watched him cast a small spell on it before handing it back to me.

"Thank you Zalgo. You're the best friend I could've ever asked for." I said smiling and slowly fell asleep seeing him smile.

"Sleep well little one." Was all I heard before I fell into a deep sleep.
