Proxy?

Willow's p.o.v.

I woke up the next morning in a soft warm bed with a stuffed rabbit next to me and smiled as I grabbed it and held it close. Yawning I rubbed my eye and slipped out of bed, my feet making a soft thud sound as I hit the floor and quietly padded out of the room and down the stairs. Everything was silent so I assumed Splendy had yet to wake up.

Shrugging I went to the kitchen and looked around before pouting realizing everything was too high. I huffed when my stomach growled and grabbed a chair and pulled it to the cabinet before climbing on it not realizing how much noise I was making. Standing on my toes I opened the cabinet and looked inside to see a container of cookies . I reached for them and just as I grabbed one I started to fall and shrieked waiting for impact...it never came. 

I looked behind me to see Splendy and realized his arms weren't what caught me but instead black tendrils. My eyes widened at the sight of them and I was about to struggle scared and confused until I heard a ringing sound that caught my attention. I looked in the direction it came from to see golden bells on the ends of Splendy's tendrils. Smiling, I reached for it and playfully swatted at it.

Splendy's p.o.v 

I woke up in bed hearing something in the kitchen and sat up in bed. My slow process of waking up disappeared however when I heard a shriek and I rushed downstairs to see Willow in the kitchen falling. My tendrils shot out of my back towards her and I sighed in relief when I caught her but frowned when she looked at my tendrils and seemed scared. She was about to panic when the bells on my tendrils rung catching her attention and I smiled when all of her fear went away as she reached for the bells. Chuckling I put one in front of her and rung it making her laugh and playfully swat at it before grabbing and hugging it. 

I laughed and tickled her watching as she laughed and squirmed in my hold. 

"Splendy stop haha i-im gonna pee!" She cried and I laughed as I threw her up in the air and caught her.

"Now what was it that you wanted so badly that you put yourself in danger for?" I asked and she held up a cookie making me shake my head. 

"You're so silly Willow. You could've asked for help."

"You were asleep and I didn't want to wake you" she said and took a bitabout of the cookie before stopping and breaking it in half. She offered the half without the bite to me and I gladly took it. 

"Well thank you very much. You're so kind"  I said and she smiled happily. 

"Willow I need to talk to you about something" I stated carrying her to the couch and sitting down with her on my lap.

"What is it Splendy?"

"Well I was thinking last night and I was wondering, how would you like to be my proxy?" 

"What's a proxy?" 

"Well a proxy is like a friend but you have to do what I say. In return I'll take care of you no matter what"

"So it's like adopting me?"

"Yeah kinda"

"Yes! Thank you so much Splendy!" She cried hugging me and I smiled but frowned knowing what I had to do. 

"You're welcome Willow, but now I need you to hold still for me Okay. I'll try to make it as quick and painless as possible." I said and took her right wrist in my hand and distracted her with the bells on my tendrils while I put my symbol on her wrist. She whined and squirmed a little and I held her close when I finished. 

"Shh, it's okay it's over now. You did great Willow. I promise that's it. No more. I know! How about a nice, shiny, red, balloon!? " I asked and she hiccuped before slowly nodding. I smiled and pulled out a balloon and blew it up before tying a string on it and giving it to her.

"Remember hold onto it tightly" I smiled as she took the balloon and smiled a little. 

Willow's p.o.v 

I smiled at the balloon Splendy gave me and looked at my wrist to see a smile on it. I looked at Splendy and hugged him.

"Thank you Splendy for everything. I don't think I can ever repay you."

"That's alright my dear you don't have to. Seeing you happy is payment enough for me. However you might want to run." 

I looked at Splendy confused until I noticed the mischevious smile on his face and my eyes widened as I ran giggling. I heard Splendy's footsteps behind me and I took a glance behind me squeaking when I noticed his tendrils out ready to grab me. I tried to turn but squealed when I felt one of his tendrils wrap around my waist and a few others start tickling me.

"Haha S-Splendy! Stop! Hahaha!"

"Nope! I've got you and I'm never letting go! Haha!" He laughed with me and after a few minutes of me rolling on the floor he finally stopped and I had tears in my eyes from laughing so much. I looked at Splendy and smiled playfully and tackled him which seemed to surprise him because his eyes widened before returning to normal and smiling.

I started tickling him back and laughed when he started squirming and laughing as well. I squeaked when he wrapped a tendril around my waist and lifted me up. He chuckled and sat up before pulling me into a hug. 

"We're going to have the best time together! I just know it!" He exclaimed and I froze before hugging back.

"I don't normally trust or like men because of my past but I'll make an exception for Splendy. He hasn't given me a reason to hate him so why would I...?"

"I wonder if he'll let me call him daddy"
