My love for you was careful

With fate making its pull

It wasn't fabricated love

It was genuine love

Because I chose you

We weren't the perfect two

We were the two that won't give up for another

Holding the world on your shoulders is one thing, but holding their emotions at the same time makes you a hero. A hero that people look up to, that counts on you to save the day.

Although, this type of hero isn't one where they fight villains or save the world from a falling superstar. They are the people who fight our own inner demons for us because we are too scared to face them ourselves.

They help us rise above them, not completely destroying them otherwise we would no longer be human.

Suga holds my world on his shoulders, not because I asked him too, because I asked him to be my world. Every step, every breath, every word that escapes my mouth is all for him.

Of course, we weren't perfect, we were far from perfect. We fight, we cry, we laugh, although the one thing we never do is leaving a conversation unfinished. Letting those emotions bottle up to eventually explode.

We weren't scared that we would explode on each other, we were scared to explode on others who had nothing to do with our fight. So, we finished each one so that we ultimately felt relieved that we were able to express our minds.

I was glad that I could do this with Suga, to not keep anything from him and him not keeping anything from me.

Now that we are getting old and our children have already found their own family to take care of, we only have each other. Just him and I with a house on top of a hill in the country-side.

"Grand-daddy! Grand-pa!" My little 8-year-old grandchild ran up to me.

"Hey." My (moody) 17-year-old grandchild said to me.

I hugged them both. "It's so good to see you! How have you been?"

"I'm doing great!" Little, Aki-kun told me.

Kari-kun sighed. "Fine."

I laughed and brought my husband to them who was all over Natsu's husband asking him questions about god knows what.

"My little babies!" Suga said and hugged them and kissed them on the forehead. "Wow Kari-kun, you've gotten so much taller! You're taller than me now!"

She rolled her eyes. "Well yeah. I need to be tall to play Ace in Volleyball."

"Okay, okay. So Aki-kun, have you been practising your math skills?" He asked.

"Uhhh....maybe?" The little kid responded and stuck out his tongue. "Maths sucks though! I don't like it at all! What am I going to even use it for?!"

Kari-kun snorted. "To calculate how many seconds it takes for you to finish a whole box of cream puffs."

"Hey! Cream puffs are the best!"

She sighed once more. "I know. I'm hungry."

We all went inside the house while we waited for Hotaru's family to come. They don't have any children yet and they said that they are probably going to stay as cat parents, which is hopefully a joke.

Soon after my youngest son's family arrived, as in children who are indeed cats came along too. I greeted Saichiro-kun with a warm hug and so did Suga. He is a very good man, I like him better than Natsu's husband...I never told her that yet.

Natsu, Hotaru, and Suga went to go cook dinner and the rest hung around the kitchen keeping company, we weren't that much help anyway.

"Hiro-chan. Pass me the chilli." Hotaru said.

"Sure!" Saichiro-kun said in delight from finally being able to do something useful.

They had their own little conversation on the side and I went to stand beside my husband. "Hey Suga, feeling all right?"

"Hm? Yeah. I'm fine, why?" He asked me continuing to stir the ingredients in his pot.

I went to touch his forehead. "You just look a little pale, your heating up."

"I am? That's weird I feel fine though."

"Is something wrong?" Natsu then butted in the conversation. "Papa? You look pale. Are you not feeling well?"

"I swear I'm feeling fi-" He dropped his stirring spoon and it fell on the floor.

At that moment it felt like time had slowed down. Suga bent down and clutched at his chest, tears springing to his eyes. "M-my chest, it hurts."

"Suga!" I rushed to his side and held him up. "Ryohei-kun! Call an ambulance!" I shouted at Natsu's husband and he rushed to his phone dialling the number.

"Hey, hey..." I patted his cheeks trying to make him stay awake and I laid him on the floor. "Stay with me okay? E-everything's g-going to b-be ok-kay..."

I couldn't properly pronounce the words, my voice cracked and I couldn't see anything other than Suga and his pale face. It happened so suddenly, from the moment he stirred the pot to him collapsing on the ground. I couldn't even process the information till now, it all happened too soon.

"C'mon Suga. Stay awake!" I cried. "The paramedics are almost here!"

I felt a hand on my shoulder and I quickly turned around to see Saichiro-kun.

"Daichi-san...they said the fastest they can arrive is in 30 minutes." He said slowly to me not being able to look me in the eyes.

"30 minutes? Are you f*cking kidding me? He is DYING Saichiro, he won't be even alive by the time they are here!" I turned back to Suga and his breathing slowed. "No, no, no stay with me, Stay With Me!"

Hotaru rushed to my side while I heard Natsu cussing at the person on the phone, Ryohei-kun was calling our neighbour and Saichiro was beside me as well.

I continued to call out my husband's name begging him to answer or at least keep his eyes open. No, he can't leave like this.

I can't live without him.
